The lady at the front desk has a very good service. She often smiles 😊 The environment is good, the room is large, the breakfast is varied and delicious. The attitude of the aunt who is doing hygiene is average. The room facilities I live in are small in the sewer. The bath water is so slow and slow. The bathtub is full of water while taking a bath. Then the toilet also saw it, and then changed a room, which was also a small sewer mouth, the bathtub was slow to walk, and the water was seen. Change rooms or change rooms from the second floor to the fifth floor, and an elevator was broken.

This hotel has a good location. It's two miles from SAN, the cruise terminal, and at the entrance of Little Italy. Harborview is across the street which has restaurants and a park. La Jolla is about 12 miles. Surf Sports park in Del Mar is a 30 minute drive. This hotel is not the newest but in fair condition. The lobby is welcoming. There is a complimentary breakfast with waffles, bagels, eggs, breakfast potatoes, fruit, juice, oatmeal, cereal, and some type of meat (sausage, bacon, etc.) There are several unhoused sleeping and walking around the streets bordering the hotel. The park across the street offers restrooms that are used by the unhoused. Many steps are taken to ensure security - doors locked from 8pm-10am, garage/garage elevators/lobby bathrooms only accessible with room key, security outside after dusk. Be warned. There is a train behind the hotel which runs into the deep night. The west side of the hotel faces Pacific Highway and cars/ambulances/fire trucks run all night long. If you are a light sleeper, pick a room on the north side of the hotel or bring your ear plugs. Also, parking was $40 a night!

The staff in Saturday was extremely unprofessional! I called the front desk for assistance with the clogged tub and she said she was going to send someone to fix it. Half and hour later, no one showed up so I called the front desk again and the phone just rang and rang for at least 10 minutes. No one answered so I went downstairs to the front desk and the gal was there so I asked her why she wasn’t picking up the phone? She said- as you can see I’m by myself and I’m busy. There was no one around! I asked her why was she not answering the phone? I had to come all the way down just to speak to someone. Her excuse was the technician was by himself too and was opening the door for someone. For a whole hour? I was getting very impatient and frustrated so I called Booking.com for assistance. A gew minutes later, someone showed up and finally fixed the clogged tub. We asked the gentleman to pls call someone to clean the tub so we can finally take a shower. He spoke with someone on the walkie talkie and told us someone will be right over. Half an hour had passed again and no none showed up. I asked the housekeeper who was cleaning the room across if we are next and she said we are not on the list for the room to be cleaned! She was kind enough to clean the tub when someone showed up with an extremely bad attitude that she looked very upset and was making loud noise. The same gal who did not answer the phone at the desk called later one and pretended to ask if everything was ok proceeded to ask why did I call Booking.com instead of calling the hotel for assistance? Really???? After I had to go all the way down to talk to her just asked me that question?
