清潔度や食事は文句ないレベル。
但し、各サイトでやたら評価が高いけど、個人的にはそこまで共感できず。
涼しい土地ではあるが、4つ星なのに冷蔵庫がないのには驚愕だしあり得ない。
確かに暖房設備は付いていたが天井に埋め込まれており真下にしか風がでない造りのため、床の一部分が集中的に温まるという、謎仕様。部屋全体は温まらないので冬場の夜は寒い。
スペイン語オンリーのスタッフが多く、英語でのコミュニケーションが出来ず困った時間帯が多い。
その為かは不明だがスタッフも東南アジア辺りと比べるとどこがドライな印象。夜勤の男性Marioは英語も話すし非常に親切でお世話になった。
単に忘れてて部屋の清掃がされてなかった日が1日あった。
アメニティも必要最低限で歯磨き等も無し。
部屋は綺麗だが広さは必要最低限。

Attention to detail is foremost at this delightful hotel where the comfort of guests is top priority. The room had heating and a luxurious duvet to keep us warm in the chilly mountain night air. The hotel had its own water filtration plant making it safe to drink the water. The shower always had hot water The owners were extremely kind and helpful. They arranged a doctor's visit and translator when we had a medical emergency and got our prescriptions. They even prepared a special meal as per doctor's recommendation. We were relieved to be in such safe hands The short 8 minute walk to the town centre guaranteed us a quiet nights sleep. The hotel restaurant offers delicious food, all prepared using treated water. Jaden Cornelius sings several evenings and has an amazing voice He is also naturally funny and entertaining. We recommend dining on a night when he sings We took a couple of private tours with Rodriguez who will customize tours to your interests He is extremely knowledgeable and speaks fluent English.

With all the hotel choices in San Cristobal we feel extremely fortunate to have landed here at Hotel Valentino! A peaceful 10 room boutique hotel with beautiful rooms, courtyard and lovely restaurant with great food. The warmth and kindness of all the wonderful workers was heartwarming. A nice location for exploring San Cristobal yet a quiet retreat at days end! Experience this haven! You won’t be disappointed. Tim the proprietor speaks English and is a kind, caring human being!! A truly special place.

This was our second time staying at Hacienda Valentino and we enjoyed it even better. The staff is friendly and attentive, the negronis at the bar are fabulous, there are really good singers in the evenings, and the restaurant food is delicious. The rooms are comfortable and unbeatable on a chilly night. The hotel is close to the action yet far enough to be peaceful and quiet.

A gem boutique hotel in San Cristobal this place is amazing & beyond, great location walking distance to downtown,, sorrounded by trees make it so special,rooms are cozy,spacious & lovely, each one is different, they have AC & heat, bed linens are one of a kind, they also have a Restaurant El colibrí that serves delicious food & drinks definitely a must in San Cristobal! Thank you to the staff Eva,Don Angel,David,Jared & the owners for make our stay so special.

The entire time at Hacienda Valentino, we were treated like V.I.P.’s. The staff went out of their way to make sure our stay was comfortable, and our needs were satisfied.
