Atmosphere and Design: The hotel's design is noted for its tasteful combination of modern and rustic elements, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere. Rooms feature unique fireplace designs and charming décor, contributing to the overall enchanting ambiance.

We had dinner at The Grill and the food was excellent. Shame for the service which is definitely not on a 5 star standard: the restaurant manager kept shouting at his staff infront of customers, our table was not cleaned, you could hear tons of noise from the kitchen, nobody asked if we wanted coffee or anything else with our dessert and ice cream was substituted with another flavor without checking whether this was okay with us. Shame that the non existent service ruins a great culinary experience.

The hotel is located in the centre of town, which is very convenient, but means the views of the mountains beyond townscape. Two of our bedrooms were comfortable and quiet, though one bedroom in single occupancy was small and did not have good soundproofing from adjoining rooms. The bathroom in the corner suite was also small. Beds very comfortable with good pillows and bed linen and all was clean. The main (St Hubertus) restaurant is amazing and speical. The other restaurant in the hotel is good, and there are other good restaurants within walking distance. The walks from here are many and beautiful and the concierge service (under the incredibly helpful Fabio) organise restaurant booking, walks and guides if needed. He also sent some items carelessly left behind by me. The spa is very good - needed after a day’s walking . The Gymn is not open until 8am. THe library is a lovely space, but it adjoins the games room, so is not a quiet place to sit and read. The concierge is also able to book taxis for you, but, something I learned from a previous Trip Adviser review, it is better to use a local company called Taxi Badia, as this is less expensive, efficient and the drivers are very good. They collected us from the airport, took us into Venice and organised a boat taxi to get us to our hotel, and they took us and collected us from different walking locations. Info@taxibadia.it.
