Absolutely amazing all around. The property could not be more beautiful and the staff could not be more friendly and accommodating. We hosted 50 people for a wedding and every guest was in love with the entire experience. The views of the surrounding vineyards are unmatched and the pool area is to die for! The rooms are traditionally Tuscan but elevated with large beds, air con, and lovely decoration. The food at the restaurant was amazing for every meal we had - breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We can’t wait to return for years to come!

I really wanted to love this place, and perhaps we would have if it had been later in the season. When I found and booked this hotel, I was so excited for what I expected to be a lovely two nights in Chianti. While the location and the property itself were truly beautiful, we were unfortunately disappointed in the accommodations and level of service we received, so much so, that we left a day early. First, I would not recommend staying here before May 1st, as you are not allowed to use the in-room air conditioning, per Italian regulations. While this alone would not have been a dealbreaker for us, our in-room heater was running for the majority of our stay, making the room upwards of 85 degrees F. We were the only people staying on site, so we expected it to be relatively easy to get assistance, however, the staff was either unable to offer support or said they would help but then never followed through. Additionally, while the on site restaurant was delicious, the service was not great. Overall, we didnt hate our time here, however, if we were to plan this trip again, I would opt to just visit for the afternoon, rather than an overnight stay.

Beautiful location in Chianti area of Tuscany. We were 13 friends staying for a week. The grounds are stunning with apartments in the main building & cottages across the way overlooking Antinori’s vineyards. The rooms were spotless & furnished with period pieces and the huge King size bed was so comfortable I didn’t want to leave. Irene & her staff were superb in assisting us with every detail. The restaurant is one of the best in the area serving us dinners & wines that made for memorable evenings. The breakfast buffet is abundant but be sure to have the cappuccino!over this place & can’t wait to return!

We couldn’t expect anything more amazing. The stay in the rooms was nice and original but the best experience we had on the restaurant for all our meals there. The manager Mr Lauro was amazing , he really helped to make our stay special. Good choice was accurate and quality was impeccable. We had a remarkable anniversary and we cannot stop to recommend a stay at agritourism Fonte de Medici to our friends. The wine tour was unbelievable and the site seing of the hills around is breathtaking. My wife made me a surprise gift I cannot forget. Thanks to the staff. 5 star

We stayed in the nearby self contained apartments. The apartment lacked a working dishwasher (the internal pieces were left in the machine) , wifi, iron / ironing board, toaster, washing machine , basic crockery, cutlery (no bread knife, cutting board, wine glasses.) We had to plead for everything and despite the exorbitant cost. staff could not have cared less. Absolute disgrace.

I cannot say enough positive things about this lovely property, owned and operated by Marchese Antinori. Wonderful staff, excellent accommodations, good food, beautiful views, lovely pool and grounds, a location without equal in Chianti! We stayed here three nights in October and our other guests were lovely couples or, in our case, a group of older gentlemen from Monaco visiting the area for excellent dinners and wine tours. Julia was our host and she was excellent. The views from each room were without equal. If I were to have a criticism, it would be that after the tourist season is over, the property needs to inform guests better about their hospitality...when the restaurant and wine bar is open during the week. This is a venue without equal where we could enjoy the area to the fullest. Hint...there are many nearby wineries and restaurants but they are a short drive, so have a rental car and be a competent driver. It's Italy, folks!

My husband and I stayed here 3 nights. We had been delayed getting in and missed a night, so the staff greeted us with food and wine even though it was past the lunch hour. The pool is so relaxing and the views at sunset are absolutely stunning. The food was amazing & the food staff were some of the nicest people we’ve ever met. We got a flat tire a few kilometers away & Irene agreed to meet the tow truck with the car key for us so that we could go see Florence and not miss any more of our trip. This was a very serene and beautiful place, we wish we could have stayed longer. It’s family friendly too. We would recommend to anyone wanting to get the real Tuscan experience!

Siamo stati a mangiare nel ristorante dell' agruturismo non era la prima volta ma come sempre siamo stati benissimo, il personale molto competente e sempre disponibile a consigliarci al meglio....non mi stancherò mai di venire a mangiare in questo posto
