Clean and comfortable
As soon as I mentioned to the front desk that I preferred to have a fridge a small one was delivered to my room. Room has a safe, desk, and comfortable clothing storage. Everything was clean and the cleaners available throughout the day. Unfortunately none of the rooms have windows that can be opened so there is always the a/c smell.

We loved our day at the thermal baths here, not crowded at all, nice hot water, but not too hot and friendly staff. The food (chicken burger and lemon pie) were delicious. Beautiful setting in the forest and very quiet, which we like. Also a lot of blue morphos flying to the feeders.

The cabins were good, and everything you’d expect for a cabin, except it’s very very loud with the tin roof when it rains. The food at the restaurant was delicious and the staff were very friendly . The property was very nice.

I stayed here for one night while traveling through the area in San Carlos. I took a tour around the entire property while I was here and stayed in one of their comfy cabins. There are various attractions to enjoy from hiking, soccer, volleyball courts, rappelling, ziplining, and many pools. The area is beautiful, set in nature with lush flora and fauna. The pools are all well taken care of, making for a perfect place to relax and enjoy the peaceful sounds of the Rio toro nature. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The thermal waters offer a high concentration of beneficial components with 9 different minerals - huge bonus! The breakfast at the restaurant prior to checkout was excellent. Thank you for hosting a wonderful stay!
