Very enjoyable experience. The hotel is in an idyllic spot. Lovely but small infinity pool and look outs to lake and volcano. Breakfast was OK and staff all very good. We were lucky enough to check in a few hours early, the staff prepared our room as we arrived earlier than expected. Many thanks. Rooms a bit tired really but great views from large windows and cleaners very good.

I have to say that the price-performance ratio of the ordinary room is very high. It is located on the top of a whole hill beside the volcano and volcanic lake. The staff at the front desk are very enthusiastic and patient. The view of the infinity pool is also unrivaled nearby11. When we lived on the 16th, I loved the balcony. I sat on the bench there and enjoyed a few days of isolation. However, I recommend that friends with higher living standards choose the hotel's exquisite suites, which are sanitary in ordinary rooms. The room was a bit cramped and there was no refrigerator or hair dryer. Breakfast is set 1. There are not many choices. The fruit is only a small piece of pineapple, a small piece of watermelon and a small amount of papaya. We asked for an extra piece of fruit on the first day but we were charged $2 for the second day. Because the restaurant at the foot of the mountain is about a kilometer away, we also had dinner at the restaurant, which tasted good.

This hotel is a hidden gem. Its got amazing views on Arenal Volcano and it was magical watching the sunrise from the balcony every morning. It's quite a basic hotel but everything was clean and the restaurant had a lot of options for dinner. The pool was lovely and it was so great watching the sunset from the pool. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it for anyone staying in the Arenal area.

Staff was excellent and had total command of English as well as, I’d course, Spanish. Bathroom was very cramped, and water escapes the shower onto the floor of the rest of the bathroom. Faucets were not quite as clean as they should be. Food was very good and beautifully presented, with a varied selection on the menu. Views are fantastic from rooms, restaurant and pool. The trail is a little rough (muddy and if you don’t wear proper footwear, you will get stung by ants on the trail), but it was a fun adventure with beautiful immersion into the green, green forest. Very peaceful.

This place is a hidden gem. It is extremely close to all of the volcano trails and hot springs. The property is absolutely beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the restaurant has an excellent selection of food and drinks. Staff was also awesome. I would give it 10 stars if I could.

Hotel is in a remote area close to the volcano overlooking the lake so quite beautiful. There isn’t much around but it is close to volcano and lake activities. The restaurant was amazing although service was lacking. Rooms were basic but clean and have a great view. It poured rain for the three days we were there; the only issue with this was the metal roof made so much noise with the rain at night. The pool area is quite small but beautiful and also has a hot tub. The staff were pretty much non existent but friendly when sought out. Room cleaning didn’t exist during our stay. All that said, the area is beautiful and I recommend if you’re looking for something quiet and remote. Plan for early evenings though as it gets dark by 6 and the road to access it quite narrow and windy. We made sure we were back before dark each night given the torrential rain and remoteness.

Service was great. Quiet location and excellent views. It seems like an older hotel, but overall clean and in decent condition. Sounds isolation between rooms is pretty poor; I could easily hear others talking in adjacent rooms.
