Overall it was clean and the room was spacious, so it was great.
I arrived at the hotel early and just wanted to leave my luggage there, but I was grateful that I was allowed to check in.
The only problems were that the elevators never came, and even when they did come on the lower floors they were full and I couldn't get on, and there was a line of people waiting for the elevator from below.
The hotel is directly connected to the Riverwalk and is close to the Alamo Mission, so it was very convenient.
Parking is expensive, so I recommend parking in a cheaper spot nearby.

The hotel and majority of the staff was friendly. Valet not so much. We have an oversized vehicle so no parking at the hotel and no suggestions or help from valet. We later found out that they did indeed have parking to accommodate a larger vehicle. The valet basically told us to figure it out.

This hotel will be the one I check first next time I go to the Riverwalk. I could find nothing wrong with any part of my stay. Everyone was so nice and helpful.

Property is centrally located. It is very clean and dining, shopping, and points of interest are nearby. Excellent staff very friendly and helpful.

The stay was very pleasant. I just want to know where you get your heavy pillows. They are so comfortable. Great view from our room. Very quiet.

Perfect location, great service, very family friendly. There were so many convienent dining options, very close to all attractions, and a CVS and Walgreens very close by for any little emergencies. Super clean as well. Highly recommend staying here.

It was a very wonderful experience in the hotel. The elevator was so cool, beds were comfy, the high view, it was all very nice. I recommend this hotel.

Staff is friendly and so helpful. The hotel is clean, well maintained facilities and right on the Riverwalk so fun and food is at your doorstep!!

My stay at the Hyatt Regency exceeded my expectations. The staff was very friendly. Especially the front desk staff Nicole. She was very informative of the area & places we could visit during our stay.

There is a lot of construction in the area at this time to make improvements, so there is noise, change in traffic.

I tried to check-in just before one hour and they mentioned the room is not available. Then they mentioned there is another one with a slightly higher price which is facing the river. We took it. But then we realized it was a mistake. This room was near to the fire exit and having a wall sharing with the adjutant room with a door. There were lot of noice from the other room, high TV volume, conversations everything was annoying a lot and this lasted till 2 AM in the morning. This is the first time I am facing this in Hyatt.

Overall it was a good stay. The location is great with the river on one side and the Alamo on the other. Parking is terrible and valet is extremely expensive. The property has been updated but you can still tell the building is old with some weird smelling candy shop on the lower level. The shower pressure was bad. The beds were nice and comfy and clean. Our room was ready for us when we arrived at 5 pm however we were lucky since the lobby was filled with other travelers that were still waiting. Could definitely use a hot tub on the roof because the pool was way too cold to be enjoyed.

Check-in was terrible! First employee couldn’t find reservation among other things, next employee found my reservation, but that’s all he could do… After 3rd employee and 3 different credit cards being “declined” we finally got our room keys. i went directly to the cafe within the hotel and used one of the cards I used for checkin and it worked perfectly fine. Later that night I looked at my CC apps and all 3 cards had been charged! I know I will get my $ back however the time and trouble I went through to check in was ridiculous and almost embarrassing as they kept swiping my credit cards. It wasn’t me, it was them.
