The Westin Riverwalk, San Antonio

My honey and I had an amazing time at the hotel! Breakfast in bed was the best. The front desk was kind and attentive to our needs. The bar downstairs and the pool were a great time as well. Will be coming back soon!

Rooms are outdated and feel like a lot of issues were just painted over to conceal them some decor was clearly broken. There were issues with the elevators and they were so loud we could hear them moving throughout the night. The walls were very thin I could hear the people next door chatting. The sheets where like paper, way to much starch. The pillows were so flat I fought with them all night trying to find some support. Staff was great though

Very disappointed. The Hotel was old and not maintained well. The lighting in the room was terrible and the service in the restaurant was poor and so was the food. The elevator sounded like it could stop at any time. The Westin was one of my favorite hotels. After this experience I will no longer stay at a Westin.

Booked Riverside balcony room based on photos in room listing. The balcony in the pic was spacious with a table and two chairs. What I got was a 3x6 ledge with a single chair and a view of the roof across the river. Otherwise...the room was clean and the employees were all top notch. Just the room was not exactly what was pictured when booked.

My family was so excited to have saved $ to stay in the Westin in San Antonio. We arrived and the Valet attendant was very kind. I went inside to check in and the line was very long and not enough workers. My husband and son were sitting with the luggage cart when I finished checking in. They were not allowed to bring the cart to the room, so the bell hop had to help us. He told us to go ahead of him to the room and we did. We got unpacked and about 30 minutes later I asked my husband what happened to my coat, since it was freezing outside. We couldn't find it. So we traced out steps and found it on the ground. The Bell hop had dropped it when he was brining our luggage up to the room. Then he went back the same way and had to have rolled over it on his way back down. Maybe I didn't tip enough. Not sure why he would have done this. I called and reported my missing coat and no one got back. I also called a second time since the entire room was full of water damage and the smell was horrible. Water lines were going down the wall all in the room. I took photos as well. I asked if they could help me and they said that the only thing they could do was have maintenance come check on it. Well, they never did come check and my family all got ill this weekend staying in that moldy room. Not good. I was so very disappointed after having such high expectations. Other than those two major things the rest of the hotel seemed very nice.

The heat in our room would not turn off . Most of the time the heat was on 81. The management was very unresponsive. Unreachable. With all the hotels in this area I would definitely recommend a different hotel. Attending a wedding with at least 20 guests that stayed in the Westin we all had issues.

Here for a conference for a 3 nights. Check in was quick and overall the facility was adequate but there were issues with the elevators only 1 sometimes two of the four would work. Housekeeping was short staffed as they would come finally come around at 5:30. As she was clearly struggling to keep up I declined service both times as it was just me in the room. As with many of the hotels in the area convenient access to the river walk and it’s restaurants.

Perfect location for walking everywhere we wanted to go. I’ve been to this property a few times and it’s always been great.
