The food at the hotel is relatively good. It’s just that there aren’t many choices of tea bags. For some reason, the tea bags I drank on the first day no longer appear, leaving only one choice. The location should be good for local tourists. There is parking for cars and easy access. Neat and clean, and bright.

It was ok. Standard room, nothing fancy. We did see a roach in the bathroom but the room felt clean. Not very generous with late check out….only gave 30min for free and it was $100 to stay until 1pm. A whole 2 extra hours. Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at that had a terrible policy. Most hotels are $75ish until 6pm. They def were not crowded on checkout day. The valet guys were great and fast

The property was lovely, clean, and comfortable. We stayed at the top floor and everything was perfect. The Sonesta is located at a very convenient location for those who want to explore the city without driving much and for concert goers. The RockBox is about 10 minutes away if you're walking and same goes for the Alamo and Riverwalk mall. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and they definitely made a lasting impression with us as well. The valet staff were personally my favorite as they were kind, funny, and every interaction with them was nice. They made my boyfriend and I feel like they were always happy to see us and we will definitely be staying here again soon.

The place looked nice but rhe service was poor. I called two times for towels and 30 minutes later i had to go down to the lobby to get one myself.
Called for coffee, creamer and sugar and had to go down myself to get it.

Staff was super friendly, but cleanliness was a big issue. When we checked into our room, there was a shoe print on our sheets. We asked for clean sheets the next morning, and when we returned that evening, there was dirt on the new sheets. There were stains all over the carpet both in our room and in the halls. I really hope they clean this place up because it’s in a great location with great staff.

Spend two nights we loved the area alot to do nearby and in walking distance from the hotel. We did not see too many homeless compared to other hotels. Definitely recommend this place and definitely going back. Everyone is so nice even the valet, we felt that our vehicle was very safe in the property.

On our Friday Saturday Sunday stay we left with bites! Seems like bedbugs. At front desk i was told ppl let their pets stay in beds so it could be something else. I noticed a guy spraying halls and going to multiple floors with what looked like pesticides. My daughter and I have bites all on our legs. Not happy

This is our fourth time staying at Sonesta in Alamo San Antonio area and we love it. It’s in a perfect location, walking distance to many things. We just love it. You should stay one time and you won’t regret it.
