I like the hotel very much the only thing is they need Wi-Fi in the rooms. They only have Wi-Fi in the reception this is a problem. But I like the grounds and the staff was amazing !!! The food was excellent!!! Get Wi-Fi in rooms it would be perfect

No complaints about property. It is an older resort but nothing wrong with it. The staff are what made our trip so memorable. Dining room staff, lobby staff, beach staff, bartenders, housekeeping, were all so friendly and helpful. We don't speak Spanish but staff did their best to speak with us and all our needs were met.

Realize you are on an island lost in time. American standard quality simply is not there. I wanted to give this place a 1 star at first. but in the end I nearly opted 5. In the end the food drove it down. The island is full of run down hotels and houses and places long past their prime. The famous ***** of beach in the center is over crowded and only one decent place to eat and sleep. The Sol Carib Campo is an easy 15 minute drive from that craziness. The hotel is like a park carved out of a side of a hill in the jungle. It is slightly dated but you have to appreciate how hard they are trying. The staff is clearly well trained (try to get in or get served without a mask - a friendly but stern reminder will be given). There is no trash anywhere ans people seem to be constantly cleaning and making improvements (can not say that for most of the island). The rooms are older but extremely comfortable bed. Water is warm. It is true there is an odd smell to the water. It's the high surpher content in the local drinking water bot sewage. The front staff is friendly but a little slow to check in - no real issue. The beach is on but honestly a lot cleaner than any other beach around. The pools are all nice especially the main pool. Note bring hood shoes you will be hiking up ans down the hills and stairs a lot. I mean a lot! The main draw back is the food - it's about the same quality as my kids get when they go to summer camp. Nothing bad or harmful but meh. The views - some of the best around In the end my family agrees it would be our first pick of / when we return

Quiet,beautiful outdoor nature

PORFAVOR NO VAYAN A ESTE HOTEL !!! si lo que buscan es un all inclusive, comodidad y buena atención porfavor no hagan lo que nosotros y no vengan !! Empezando por el servicio de la gente del hotel que parece poco preparada y a disgusto con el trabajo que desempeñan y eso ya es motivo de no volver pero esto recién empieza porfavor lean TODO! Hay 3 restaurantes de los cuales solo uno está habilitado para comer todos los días , en los otros dos hay que sacar turno el mismo día a las 7 de la mañana porque hay un grupo reducido de cupos una situación estresante y ridicula despert**** a las 7 en vacaciones para tremenda vergüenza!!! La comida es mala , escasa y se repite todos los días la misma cosa , de lo más lamentable comer acá, todo sin gusto , ni preparación, tanto lo salado , como lo dulce. Los tragos directamente asquerosos mala calidad de la bebida y peor la preparación, no tomamos nada nosotros de acá y fuimos a comprar un gin y tonica al centro. No hay Internet en las habitaciones, tampoco room service , así que si llueve te toca caminar 3 cuadras mínimo abajo de la lluvia para comer . Escuche comentarios de que robaron de las cajas fuertes y tampoco hay lavanderia por lo que nos toco ir al centro a lavar la ropa lo cual queda lejos del hotel y cobra $30.000 la Ida y dps pagar la vuelta en taxi . Se escucha todo de las otras habitaciones y lamentablemente la gente que se hospeda en este hotel no es la más educada ni respetuosa. Llegamos a la conclusión de que toda la gente en la isla trata con displicencia a los turistas , obviamente basados en nuestra vivencia. Una experiencia terrible que porfavor tienen que tratar de evitar porque se paga una fortuna por un servicio pésimo. Si tu intención es viajar a un lugar con las comodidades que uno se merece y por lo que uno invierte este no es el lugar Viajo muyyy seguido y esta fue mi peor experiencia hotelera por lejos . Espero que puedan mejorar para las personas que se animen a venir . Nosotros y todo el que me pregunte acá no vendra

I had a great stay at Sol Caribe Campo! The main pool and the beach were both great with plenty of chairs and some shaded space. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was good and had plenty of variety. No stinginess with the alcohol either. And my room was well air-conditioned and clean, and the bed was comfy. However, there are a few things that I can see being dealbreakers for some people. WiFi is only available in the lobby. The resort is on a hill, which makes for great views, but also loooots of stairs. And the hotel plays fairly loud party music at the pool, the beach, during the nightly show--pretty much all day, everywhere until 11pm at night.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCIA POR EL VALOR QUE COBRAN, vine en viaje familiar de turismo con mi hija de 7 años …es media noche y no podemos dormir porque tenemos la música que dejan libremente poner a los huéspedes y el hotel no hace nada por respetar el sueño y descanso de los demás, la comida muy regular, las habitaciones Igual viejas fuerte mal olor y se daño la Cortina tan pronto llegamos ..pedimos que la arreglaran y Nadie lo hizo …la piscina lejísimos y el agua save salado al igual que las duchas en la habitación…NO LO RECOMIENDO PÉSIMO PARA PERSONAS EXIGENTES Y DE BUEN GUSTO …Estuve 3 días en DECAMERON ISLEÑO y me arrepiento de haber probado el último día este Hotel …ES UNA PESADILLA
