I am Colombian but I have lived in the US most of my life. I went to visit my family in Colombia and my brother suggested to take a trip to San Andres Island. In pictures looks great so we decided to go. We stayed at the hotel Arena Blanca. The rooms are ok and the food it’s pretty good. What I am absolutely disappointed is the Island. Everything is falling apart. The beaches are dirty, streets are run down. This place has a beautiful ocean but they are letting it completely go. It’s very sad. I love my country, but right now I wouldn’t recommend to any tourist to come to San Andrés. Go to Cartagena or Santa Marta for a better experience. I really hope some day things get better for the Island it could be an amazing place.

I was scheduled to stay in this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights it was q group of 9 of us with 5 rooms. As soon as we arrived to the main entrance, noticed the building was a bit run down. As we approach the from door it was full of hand prints and dirty. We gave it the benefit of the doubt. We received our room keys and the nightmare began. My room specifically was the worst of all. It had mold, on the walls and sticky smell coming out the air conditioner. The curtains were dirty and full of mold, the bathroom was dirty it previous guess hair all over. The furniture you can see the dust from far. I requested to be changed to another room and the answer was, we at full capacity. We decided to have some drinks by the bar, and the fridge where the ice is kept dirty, the pool chairs all dirty full of mold and broken. I immediately called my travel agent cause I didn’t want to spend one more second at this place. Unfortunately we wouldn’t find a hotel with 5 rooms available until next morning. I didn’t sleep in my room cause it was un breathable. I spoke with a manager next morning and offer to show her all the pictures I have from everything I was complaining and she just stated- I believe you. I was promise a refund except for the night we stayed there. I’m still waiting for the refund. Please see the pictures.

Pésima atención por parte de las camareras, no es un all inclusive, con suerte pensión completa. Barra con pocos tragos, bebidas de mala calidad. Gaseosas sin gas y a veces sin stock! Un día mis hijos tuvieron que pedir sprite porque no les quedaba Coca-Cola! Jaja de terror. Tenías una heladera con bebidas en la habitación y tenían costo! Hotel viejo, lúgubre, muy mala onda casi todo el personal. La comida repetitiva y muy poca variedad

Llevamos 7 días hospedados en este bello hotel y la experiencia ha sido realmente agradable y ha superado ampliamente nuestras expectativas. El personal de este lugar es muy amable y siempre está dispuesto a solucionar tus problemas e inquietudes. Tienen sugerencias de todos los mejores sitios a visitar y te ayudan con los precios para que sepan cuánto cuesta en realidad. No compren nada desde sus países. Compren acá los Tours y todo. Ellos los guiarán. Y la comida de este lugar es de otro planeta. Hemos estado en otros all-inclusive con más de 1000 platos para elegir pero de esos 3 o 4 son ricos realmente. Acá todo es rico. Recomendamos comer siempre en el hotel. Acá algunas fotos de la comida que está a otro nivel.

Mis amigas y yo nos hospedamos en este establecimiento durante 5 noches, y aunque la ubicación es excelente y el aire acondicionado y agua caliente funcionaban correctamente, nuestra estancia estuvo llena de inconvenientes. El problema más grave fue la presencia de ácaros en la cama, que nos picaron durante toda nuestra estancia. A pesar de que se supone que las sabanas deben cambiarse regularmente, en nuestros 5 días de estancia, nunca fueron cambiadas. Además, el personal no fue muy amigable. Cuando solicitamos un desayuno temprano para nuestro check-out, la respuesta fue un simple "no" sin ofrecernos ninguna alternativa. Otro punto negativo fue la calidad de los postres, que no estaban a la altura de lo que esperábamos. También nos decepcionó que el servicio no incluyera ni siquiera botellas de agua en la habitación. La atención en las mesas también dejó mucho que desear. Los meseros parecían sobrecargados y no siempre estaban disponibles para atender nuestras necesidades. En cuanto al all-inclusive, los snacks ofrecidos eran poco variados y a menudo estaban fríos. En resumen, aunque la ubicación es buena, la experiencia en general fue decepcionante y tiene una buena piscina y la limpieza en general estaba bien. Esperamos que el establecimiento tome medidas para mejorar el tiempo de cambio de la lencería de las camas, el servicio, la calidad de la comida y la atención en general.

La nueva torre es hermosa. Sus habitaciones son muy lindas y cómodas y muy nuevas. Sugiero puedan trasladar incluso su comedor a la misma torre, la comida del hotel es muy rica y súper variada. Lo único que podría acotar es no cerrar la piscina a las 6pm es un error terrible, solo por eso no volvería, lo ideal es llegar de la playa y despejar un poco en la piscina. Deben hacer una revisión exhaustiva de su personal, 6/10 presentan una actitud maluca, con poco ánimo. Un día discutiendo entre ellas frente a los huéspedes en pleno horario de la comida. Los chicos si son más amables y con más actitud, sus dos bartender y el chico que trabaja en el comedor 10puntos para ellos

Excelente atención, la comida y los tragos muy buenos. Muy buena piscina con arena de mar. El espectáculo nocturno insuperable. La atención y cordialidad muy buena. En general todos pensamos regresar. Muy recomendable para un grupo familiar.
