I am Colombian but I have lived in the US most of my life. I went to visit my family in Colombia and my brother suggested to take a trip to San Andres Island. In pictures looks great so we decided to go. We stayed at the hotel Arena Blanca. The rooms are ok and the food it’s pretty good. What I am absolutely disappointed is the Island. Everything is falling apart. The beaches are dirty, streets are run down. This place has a beautiful ocean but they are letting it completely go. It’s very sad. I love my country, but right now I wouldn’t recommend to any tourist to come to San Andrés. Go to Cartagena or Santa Marta for a better experience. I really hope some day things get better for the Island it could be an amazing place.

I was scheduled to stay in this hotel for 4 days and 3 nights it was q group of 9 of us with 5 rooms. As soon as we arrived to the main entrance, noticed the building was a bit run down. As we approach the from door it was full of hand prints and dirty. We gave it the benefit of the doubt. We received our room keys and the nightmare began. My room specifically was the worst of all. It had mold, on the walls and sticky smell coming out the air conditioner. The curtains were dirty and full of mold, the bathroom was dirty it previous guess hair all over. The furniture you can see the dust from far. I requested to be changed to another room and the answer was, we at full capacity. We decided to have some drinks by the bar, and the fridge where the ice is kept dirty, the pool chairs all dirty full of mold and broken. I immediately called my travel agent cause I didn’t want to spend one more second at this place. Unfortunately we wouldn’t find a hotel with 5 rooms available until next morning. I didn’t sleep in my room cause it was un breathable. I spoke with a manager next morning and offer to show her all the pictures I have from everything I was complaining and she just stated- I believe you. I was promise a refund except for the night we stayed there. I’m still waiting for the refund. Please see the pictures.

Muito bom! Voltaria novamente. Hotel maravilhoso, atendimento excelente. A Ilha é um verdadeiro paraíso. As águas de sete cores, pura presença de Deus. Gratidão por ter tido essa oportunidade de chegar até San Andrés. Gente maravilhosa e acolhedora. Obrigada.

Hotel cercano a la playa media cuadra, cercano a las tiendas, restaurantes, dulcerias y souvenier, una excelente atención, la srta de recepción muy amable, limpieza A1, srtas de limpieza presentación excelente, dan facilidades y datos para contar movilidad segura. Volveremos pronto!!

La nueva torre oasis realmente es hermosa, cómoda y aseada, el servicio de Camila y Viviana en las recepciones fue genial. El show de la noche es muy bueno. Sólo recomendaría hacer el bar más amigable con música sin anuncios. La comida es muy rica sería bueno incluir más comida de mar.

Una muy buena experiencia, tomamos la opción all inclusive; la comida deliciosa, los cócteles buenos pero pueden mejorar. La habitación muy cómoda y las personas que hacían el cambio diario muy amables y quedaba siempre impecable la habitación. La ubicación muy buena, muy cerca a la playa (menos de 5 minutos caminando) Tal vez el punto a mejorar es si uno desea actividades dentro del hotel no se tienen salvó un show de una hora que es de lunes a sabado sin festivo, que de pronto otro all inclusive si tienen.
