Hotel Lord Pierre

The best thing about my experience at the hotel was the warmth and kindness of the staff, especially Paola and Marisol, who proved to be very attentive, kind and approachable. I also want to highlight Claudia, Ebony, Deivis, Borlan and Adrián. Without them, my stay would have been really unpleasant, and I'm not exaggerating. Unfortunately, the state of maintenance of the hotel leaves much to be desired, its deterioration becoming evident from the moment you enter the lobby. The elevator worked intermittently. Upon arriving at the room, we found a problem with the lock that forced us to request an immediate change. In the second room, we were faced with a strong musty smell and generator noise, which made our rest difficult, leading us to request a second change. I recommend staying on the fourth floor to avoid these inconveniences. It is surprising that the rooms lack hot water, which I consider quite unusual since I have visited different tourist destinations and this has never happened to me. The daily replenishment of toilet paper is an inconvenience, since we accommodated three people and we constantly had to request an additional roll, since we ran out during the night and we did not have any for the next morning. In addition, we had to ask for a change of towels regularly and the last few days they didn't even give us a hand towel. They also didn't put bottled water in the minibar. The inconsistent availability of bottled water was also an issue. For a day there was no water in the hotel, at reception they did not give us bottled water or any solution. Fortunately in the kitchen we got three bottles to brush teeth and wash faces and hands while the water came back on. Although the buffet's gastronomic offering is limited, the food stands out for its freshness and flavor. Claudia does an excellent job, very proactive and always attentive to details. The location of the hotel is privileged, close to the pedestrian area, main beach, restaurants, bars and shops. You can reach many points of interest in a matter of minutes. The view from room 413 is wonderful, and the hotel's pier adds a lovely touch where you can swim, snorkel and observe extensive marine life; goldfish, barracudas, manta rays and even nurse sharks. Adrián was always very enthusiastic when answering our questions and telling us about the biodiversity of the island. Unfortunately, the hotel did not meet expectations, the bar has insufficient space for all guests and low alcohol quality in the cocktails. Despite this, Marisol, Paola, Deivis and Adrián offered excellent service, making me forget the inconveniences already mentioned. It is a shame that I cannot recommend the hotel due to these shortcomings.

Good in general terms. The guys at the reception are very friendly. I ate it well, cleaning well. The elevator doesn't work but we don't need it. The location is impeccable and the pier has a spectacular view. I would return and recommend it for the price-service-location ratio.

This hotel is not bad, it is TERRIBLE. The elevator has been under repair for two months, the bathrooms have mold, the lights do not work, we were in a triple room and an employee had to open it from the outside because the door did not open from the inside. A guest's window glass broke and comments were heard that it had been reported for several days and it was not fixed. They sell it as FOUR STARS, but it doesn't reach TWO STARS. The photos that appear in the ads are a lie. Toilet paper is rationed. There are no beach towels and when there are they are old and weathered.

The attention of the staff is correct and cordial. The facilities are acceptable and are in adequate condition for the enjoyment of passengers. The restaurant's menu is as expected. Bar menu somewhat limited. Generally acceptable infrastructure. Room with air conditioning system, cable TV and beds in excellent condition. The water is not drinkable (not suitable for human consumption). There is signage in the bathrooms. In any case, they should inform the reception verbally upon arrival and give options to obtain bottled water for consumption. Room 403 with variable water pressure and no hot water available. Elevator out of service during my stay.
