Lovely hotel - upgraded to the reserve to allow a peaceful time (we prefer no kids to feel relaxed) and this allowed that! Would recommend this if you are going in school holidays. Staff all so friendly, rooms beautiful - we ended up upgrading to a junior suite ocean view (and it was absolutely perfect for my wife and I. Thank you to the Director of Sales and team at Melia for sorting out the accommodation for the wedding as we were travelling for a friends wedding.

We’ve just got home after a wonderful week at Paradisus by Meliá, Gran Canaria. As anxious first time parents, nervous about travelling with a 15 week old baby, our nerves were quickly put to rest as soon as we arrived. The staff at the hotel were so welcoming and had everything we needed to hand too, including a baby bath, travel cot, and bottle sterilising machine (it saved us packing more things!) As well as beautiful clean rooms and an all round stunning hotel, we are also both vegan and were well catered for. The guest experience team and waiting staff did everything they could to make sure we were well fed for the week, which we were, a little too much if anything! There are however, a few things that would have been nice. • Drinks service at the pool, to save us going up to the bar every time. • Better sea view in the premium ocean view bedrooms (we were on the second floor, so palm trees and the hotel grounds were blocking the sea) • More creativity when it came to our meals. Although the chefs provided us with most things we asked for, some dishes could have been better. For example, we asked for tofu bao buns, we which got, but it would have been nice if they added some grated carrot, spring onions, even sauce. It very much felt like we had to request our food for the week, but it would have been nice to have some of the chefs recommendations on occasions too! Apart from that, I would whole heartedly recommend staying at this hotel and we look forward to visiting again in the future.

Most incredible holiday in Gran Canaria on a Jet2 Indulgent Escapes. Everything was simply perfect from check in at the airport to the flight to the private transfer, hotel was as promised (if not even better) and the return journey was the same. This is superb new hotel, 5 star without any fuss. We had a Premium Double with an Ocean View and access to The Reserve (the adults only lounge and pool) which was simply fantastic. Free premium drink all day (just help yourself), wide range of snacks and access to sun loungers and Bali beds. Some lovely "treats" from staff such as cocktails, ice cream, fresh fruit, sun cream etc brought throughout the day. A good choice of restaurants and the WiFi speed was first class everywhere. Able to stream movies all day long if needed. Plenty of dining options throughout the day depending on your choice. The room was just superb with huge super king bed, choice of pillows, excellent air con and wonderful bathroom. Large TC that allows Chromecast from your tablet or mobile. Running out of adjectives to describe this. Above all, the standard and cleanliness was faultless. Definitely going back.

A lovely hotel. Its main strength is the quality of staff. Virtually everyone employed there is cheerful, friendly and delightful and this gives the hotel a great atmosphere. It has very attractive grounds leading down to the San Augustin beach and is very tastefully equipped and decorated. Food is good, with a wide choice of dining options along with the main restaurant, which is self-service. Other choices are variable. We particularly enjoyed the Italian Mascalzone and La Paseta. Our least favourite was Kanna, where, exceptionally, the service was brusque rather than accommodating. Evening entertainment was very low key, mainly in the Viba Bar, most people opting to sit out on the terrace. The bands performing were typical of the peripatetic groups and artists touring the Canaries, some of them very good. We felt there was a lack of a showcase for them as they were sometimes performing to an almost empty room. The extra for Reserve accommodation is worthwhile, with a quieter, but much smaller pool and a quiet lounge. There was never a problem bagging a sunbed and staff bringing out cocktails, fruit and ice creams was a big plus.

Fabulous stay. Booked 2 week holiday with a Reserve Premium Double room with Sea views. In my opinion Reserve upgrade was well worth it. The Help yourself Bar in your Reserve lounge with sandwiches, snacks and drinks, including spirits, all available 11-6 daily. Balinese beds and loungers were readily available. Food was generally very good, apart from "Lemon Fish" which wasn't for us. All the others were great, even the buffet was always full of options from pre-prepared stuff, or show cooking daily. Very comfy beds, everywhere was spotlessly clean 24 hours z day. Overall all the staff were lovely and all were willing to he'll in any way needed. Only slight issue was the last day when we needed to be out the room by 12 noon with an airport pickup at 7pm. The room to get ready in is quite literally a shower room, and you only get 30 mins to get sorted. No options were given for late check out, and the room is really only for 1 person at time as there is no room for your luggage if there are 2 or more of you. Other than that would highly recommend

We went all inclusive in August . The hotel is beautiful. The grounds are spotless . The swimming pools are excellent but they have only two pools. We stayed for one week in August as a family of two adults and three teenagers . They have excellent activities everyday including a teen club for my teenagers. But boy did we starve. The food is dire. Simply dreadful . Everyday was the same breakfast lunch dinner . Boiled spaghetti , nachos , hot dogs , burgers, boiled bland chicken breasts raw meat and fish , stale bread, hotdogs for sausages salty paella and burnt vegetables still feature in my nightmares ! We went out after two days in search of fast food and snacks . The whole thing felt like a scam . Ok mean the hotel wanted €700 to upgrade us to a room with a sea view ! We had people hassling us everyday to sign up to some Meliá loyalty program . Very pushy and rude. The staff were great but the drinks were bland gassy and cheap. It s a shame cos it was such a beautiful hotel ! Won’t be going back

Stayed here for a week. Lovely hotel, very clean. Staff were really nice. There was plenty of good food in the buffet hall, you can also book different restaurants in the hotel that are included in the all inclusive but book them before you leave as they are limited to how many can book for each night.

The best experience we’ve had in an all inclusive hotel in Europe! We traveled August 2024 (2 kids and 2 adults) The room was AMAZING! Spacious, modern, practical, sunny with plenty of amenities. It had a proper hair dryer and a steamer!! It came with a tend for the kids to play and colours and things to play with! The hotel was first class! Clean and super chic! Staff friendly and helpful! The people working at the kids and teen club were absolutely fantastic! Kids were begging us to go to their clubs and we managed to have a chilled time and catch time as a couple! A year has passed since we stayed and my kids keep on asking to go back! The open cinema was top notch but being able to see the stars from the astronomical observatory located in the hotel was a unique experience! The man who led the explanation and taught us everything about the stars and planets was very knowledgeable and engaging. The gym was fantastic and the sport activities were fabulous for someone who practises exercise on a regular basis. I would recommend this hotel to everyone! Families and couples!
