Samsun Charme Hotel

The entrance of the hotel has long stairs. You will walk a long way until you enter the reception. If you have heavy luggage, you will have to go up twice. The reception is nice and elaborate. Then you can use the elevator to go up to the rooms. The rooms are very small. We were promised a suite room during the reservation. However, the night we arrived, they gave us a narrow standard room. There was no way we could go back, it was that small. We were not going to extend the offer, but then we thought, maybe the suite room is bigger. We moved to the suite room. However, the room is not much different from the standard room. It is a very small boutique hotel. The breakfast section is shown as open buffet on the internet. However, when we went to have breakfast, the kitchen attendant told us that the service was not open because there were few customers. The plates were ready and waiting for us. There were olives, eggs, cucumbers and tomatoes on it. It was not appealing. Where is the open buffet, where is this? It was a bit embarrassing. Therefore, I cannot give full marks. It was good in terms of cleanliness. There was no mold or humidity. We should not take credit for that. The hotel owner was cheerful. But it lost in breakfast and the smallness of the rooms.. I mean, it would have been better if it had given the same attention to the rooms as it did to the reception section. You can combine two rooms and make them bigger. The nightly rate starts at 1800 TL. A bit too much. There are more luxurious hotels in Atakum and they are more affordable.
