Dilimah Premium Luxury . . . the name is rather exaggerated. It is a good hotel, say 3 to 4 star, but not premium luxury. The location really is not ideal ; it's a solid hour energetic walking to the center. The restaurant seems to be very popular as a wedding venue. That means extremely loud music and karaoke. Luckily you can move into the garden for dinner, where they will give you a blanket if it's cold. We had a generous room with 2 comfortable King Singles. There is a small coffee table and a desk to write or charge your electronics. The decor is rather old fashioned. The bathroom is good size, with bath/shower and glass sliding doors (no plastic curtain !) ; clean white towels and reasonable amenities. Wifi in the room was so weak as to be virtually useless. Our TV had no English channels that we could watch, but reception said we could use ”internet TV” ; however, wifi was too weak . . . When we visited in October, the room was very hot, so we switched on the A/C - only to be informed by reception that the Hotel had switched to ”winter mode”, so we could only get hot air. They suggested we open the window - never mind the road noise or insects. Breakfast is in a gaudy room, more suitable as nightclub, and offers a very limited choice - really not good enough for the standard hotel (or the money you pay). Dilimah is not a bad hotel ; it has a lot of potential, but should do a lot better before the ”Premium Luxury” applies.

If the tour to Samarkand lasts more than 2 days, Silk Road hotels are your choice. It’s kind of like a suburb, but it’s 12 minutes by taxi to the center, 20 to the train station, 30 to the airport. Most of all, this area resembles the territory of an elite country club: a huge lake with boats, the Eternal City ethno park with art studios, wine tasting, a disco, security at the entrance to the territory, and everything is green and well-trained staff. You can safely choose any of the 5 hotels; they all offer an excellent level of service. There is specialization in the types of wellness programs (well, if necessary), but in general, each hotel is a hotel with a quality mark. They changed our hotel 2 days before check-in, but as compensation they kept the same price and gave us a better room. The breakfasts are such that they last until dinner, the products are of high quality, the preparation is beyond praise... we had them for an additional fee, but were worth every cent. The rooms are medium in size, but cozy, comfortable, the equipment installed is fantastic. Maybe that's why it sometimes crashes. But all problems are resolved instantly, the staff is clearly not only friendly and polite, they have undergone special training in hospitality, this is noticeable. The hotel is brand new, but this is probably 4+, although the food is 5 points. And at the same time, the hotel remains a place where not just professionals work, but nice and empathetic people. We were late for the train, a taxi was not called, the entire morning shift was involved in solving the problem, they helped, saw us off, and worried about us as if we were family. Respect. This became our key point - not just service, but a lot of warmth and involvement.

In early December, I was resting with my friends in this hotel. We were met on a comfortable car(transfer free from the hotel). The settlement went very quickly.The rooms are excellent, clean with good furniture. Towels, toiletries changed every day.Bedding and dressing in very good condition changed in 5 days of stay 2 times. Rooms are cleaned perfectly.I wanted to stop for breakfast. Since the hotel is small , there is no great diversity in dishes. But there is everything necessary for a dense breakfast. Special thanks to the cook Dile. Cook delicious at home, wondered if everything liked. There was also a variety of fruits. Coffee is made from a capsule-caffeine. At nights rested in a pool with jacuzzi and saunas. Booked time and we were provided with 2 hours all the spa complex individually with towels, coats . Thanksgiving words want to convey to the hotel manager AMIRU. Very attentive, kind and responsive young man. Thanks to him our holiday at this hotel was comfortable and left only good impressions about the hotel and people of Samarkanda. The hotel is very new, far away from the busy city and very quiet. The hardware is very good, just like the pictures on Ctrip. The breakfast is rich. The guys at the front desk are very nice and can communicate easily in English. Friends traveling with us all said that this hotel was a treasure.
