Samarkand Hotels with Gym

The correspondence between the men at the front desk and the young women was smiling, and it was easy to consult about problems. The interior of the hotel was very nice. Located 20 〜 30 minutes walk from Registan Square and Shahzinda, there was no inconvenience in moving because you can call a taxi conveniently by yangdex go. I would like to use it next time.

I had the most amazing stay at Hilton Garden Inn Samarkand! Arrived and I was shookethd by how boujie the room was…. Super clean…. Special shoutouts to housekeeper Narmilya! She was so helpful. I met so many amazing staff at the reception too. I didn’t have the best experiences in Samarkand but they were all so lovely and made me feel safe, comfortable and welcome. Thank you especially to Sabina, Mumin, Charos, Doston, Mirali and Dimitry! I had some super helpful room service staff as well but I didn’t get their names! The food was great and affordable. If you’re coming to Samarkand as a westerner it can be a bit scary….. but the staff at HGIS made it so much easier…. I’ve never had a hotel experience where the staff have treated me so well….. It feels like a rural hotel in a quiet place. Late at night, the hotel door is locked until dawn, which seems to be perfect for older travelers who care about security. The room is relatively small, but there are fluorescent lights to work quietly. You can have a light buffet meal in the morning, but I don't like greasy ones, so I ate fried eggs, a sausage, yogurt, tangerine (high sugar), and a piece of bread. I ordered black coffee for free and drank it. The hotel staff are friendly, but they don't speak English well. I checked out to get out of the 6 o'clock high-speed train to Tashkent, but I was surprised to ask for a $8 tourist tax for two days, four dollars a day. I thought it would be late for the car, so I gave it first and then got on the train, and I thought I was ripped off by the tour guide, so I went there and asked him to pay for it. Looking at the kakaotalk sent by the tour guide later, it seems that you really get a tourist tax in Samarkand. It would be nice to know that those staying in Samarkand have to pay an extra $4 a day.

Luxurious new hotel and our room was very good , well equipped and spacious. The restaurants were also very good, whether for breakfast or for evening meals, the quality of the food served was excellent. The location was very good for us as we wanted to be away from the hustle and bustle of the sightseeing areas but within easy reach - we used Yandex which worked very well and very cheap ( 15,000 to 30,000 soms each way to the main tourist sights, railway, airport). We also prioritised modern facilities over traditional hotels but If you want a more authentic experience you may want to go elsewhere. During our stay we also used the restaurant/bar in a nearby hotel on the same site which was a short walk away which was good also. The staff were very friendly, but the service was a bit patchy. There looked as though there was still a lot of staff training going on and I’m sure this will improve with time. Our only other point is that the swimming pool was closed (pool has no water in) and we felt that we given the 5 star status we should have been advised of this. We had a very good stay and would have given 5/5 except that the price was a lot higher than other excellent hotels on our Uzbekistan trip so given the points we've raised the value was not as good.

Excellent hotel. Thank you very much to all the hotel employees, everyone was extremely friendly and polite with us: reception workers, restaurant workers, as well as maids. Special thanks to the girls from the reception: they recommended places to visit in the city, any questions were resolved very quickly. The hotel is located a little far from the city, which is an advantage for us: the air is very clean, and we sleep well, because... no noise from streets and highways. Beautiful view from the window; in the evenings we walked along the canal and enjoyed nature. Delicious breakfast!

The hotel is located a little far from the city center. The only thing that can be said about the hotel is that it is a hotel where you can spend a good time with everything. It is a good idea to have 3 private and one public swimming pools in the hotel. The rooms are bigger than you might think and have very high ceilings, it is more correct to call the room a living room, the rooms are clean. Breakfast is good overall

The hotel is located in the new city and the surrounding environment is very good. Listed five-star, from accommodation to breakfast are very good, it is a Belt and Road conference reception hotel, the room has Chinese sockets, the supplies have Chinese. The canal view room can watch the sunset. Breakfast is very exquisite. The fly in the ointment is that it is a bit far from the city, and yandex takes a taxi to the city about 2w Sum. When booking, you cannot select a bed for a child. In the hotel booking system, they see the room as for two, because children are not taken into account in their system, but at the same time you have to pay extra for the child’s bed at the hotel, although it would be more convenient to pay immediately when booking. The three of us and a 14-year-old child were accommodated in a double room. But nearby there is a town with restaurants and built. Streets near the old town. In general, staying at this hotel in Silk Road leaves the best emotions and impressions for many years to come. I want to go back there again and again. I recommend it!
