2-Star Hotels in Salzburg

Everything is perfecto except a snoring roommate. I booked 2 nights at this hostel. The location is just 10mins from Salzburg main (train) station. Facilities were clean & their staffs were friendly. The common areas were cozy and the atmosphere made it easy to meet other travelers. The only downside was my snoring roomate whom I found out he was at the wrong bed. The 1st night he started to snore from 10pm to 4am, non stop. The 2nd night from 1am till morning 🙄 His snoring made the rest of us a bit hard to sleep. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea.

Das Wolfgang's managed by A&O hat mir wegen mehrerer Gründe wirklich gut gefallen. 1. Der Preis. Für Salzburger Verhältnisse fast geschenkt. 2. Kompetenter und freundlicher Service. 3. Die Sauberkeit. Bad und Bett wirklich makellos. Die Bettwäsche, zwei Kopfkissen, grosses weißes weiches Handtuch usw frisch duftend. In meinem Zimmer (#116) gab es 2x2 Etagen Betten und zwei einfache Betten nebeneinander, direkt am Fenster, das auch teilweise geöffnet werden konnte. Ich hatte Glück, das Nachbarbett war nicht belegt. 4. Die Lobby (mit Klavier!) hell, mit vielen Sitz Möglichkeiten. Dort kann man auch ein recht gutes Frühstücksbuffet für €9,30 nehmen. Bis 11 Uhr. 5. Die Lage. Kaum 3 Minuten vom Hauptbahnhof entfernt.

There are reception staff, you can send your luggage, it is close to the station, and it is convenient for visiting various attractions. Breakfast is the highlight of the hotel. You can make your own pancakes, steamed eggs, and boiled eggs. The children are very happy.

The hotel is not in the main city, but Salzburg is not big, the tram will soon be able to go to the main city, to the food alley, the fortress is quite convenient. The door is the 1st tram stop, get off at the hotel.

The room is clean and sanitary. The front desk service is very good and answers all questions. The location is easy to find and is very close to the train station. S3 Station Road. Minutes away from attractions. There are coffee capsules, biscuits, drinks and apples at the front desk, which is very nice. I ordered the wrong room and three people were crowded together, but it was the first time in Europe that we had quilts covering us.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel The rooms were clean and well-kept For the price, it felt like a great deal, as the value for money is impressive. The location is also convenient, situated just a short walk from the train station, which made exploring the area easy and stress-free the reception staff were welcoming always ready to help I’d definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for quality and convenience at a reasonable price :)

Haus Wartenberg is charming and feels like you are staying at your grandmother’s house. It has a warm and inviting atmosphere. There is lots of antique and vintage art and furniture to look at. Staff were helpful and friendly. There were a just few things that could have made the stay better. The rooms didn’t have air conditioning or fans provided - or I wasn’t offered one. In the room, bedsheets had visible stains and there was some light dust and common household bugs in the room. The old furniture gives it a nice touch. There are some nice spaces to enjoy relaxing like reading a book etc. If you like an alternative feeling to sterile and stale hotel environments then this is the place for you!

3 mins walk to train station. Nearby got shopping mall and grocery store. Spacious room. Bathroom a bit old style however the plus point is having heater inside the bathroom. WIFI connection not user friendly sometimes gets disconnected. No drinking water inside the room. Have to take it from the lobby. Got hair dryer. No slipper.

The location is very good, the train station comes out of any bus 3 stations, walk 20 minutes. After getting off the bus, look around, the right door of the church is gone, the doors are closed. The wide corridor, the room is like a dormitory, but it is very new and clean, and the breakfast is good. When you get out of the train station, you can buy a pass card right away. This is a tourist city. There are a lot of Tongka. The museums and the Archbishop's Palace in Salzburg must be seen. Especially the Archbishop's Palace is no worse than any European palace, and it is allowed to take pictures! Remote short-distance attractions are all included and it takes three nights to visit all the attractions.

It was close to Jungang Station, so it was great to go on a trip to the suburbs, and the owner and staff were all so kind that I had a pleasant stay. Mirabell Gardens and other tourist attractions are also within walking distance. The breakfast, especially the coffee, was so delicious.
