Dorint City-Hotel Salzburg ★★★★

📍 Sterneckstraße 20, Salzburg

"Decent hotel in quieter area with public transport available, which is free (voucher provided by hotel). Or else 15 mins walk to central train station or old town area. Breakfast was just nice and good quality."

Arte Hotel Salzburg ★★★★

📍 Rainerstraße 28, Salzburg

"This hotel is absolutely awful. From the outside, it looks quite nice, and the breakfast view is good, but the overall management is worse than a domestic 3-star hotel. The tissue I dropped on the floor wasn't cleaned for three days. You can visibly see dust on the doorknobs and headboard. Can you even imagine the hygiene situation here? This kind of hotel doesn't even provide slippers; do you dare walk barefoot? Secondly, when we checked in, there were clearly two staff members present, but only one was handling the check-ins. We waited for nearly 30 minutes. This negative review is very real, and I have photos to prove it."

Hotel Schloss Mönchstein ★★★★★

📍 Mönchsberg Park 26, Salzburg

"Salzburg is a ok town. Until you show up to the Schloss. What do they have? Great pool. Grab a couple aperol spritzes and go for an underwater breathing competition. Great breakfast. Skip the serve it yourself buffet and Order an omelette and some crepes. Great town. Take the elevator and walk to La Stella. Order the bolognese, the feta cheese pizza, and the tiramisu. Drink wine and take the long way back. Draw a bath, walk around in the robe, and fall asleep reading. Salzburg is now your favorite town."

📍 Carl-Zuckmayer-Straße 1, Salzburg

"I kept my luggages in hotel with checking out. And my stuffs were disappeared right after the keeping service. So I sent an E-mail, and called them 4 times, but they didn’t answer. I am so disappointed to this hotel’s responsibility."

Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg

Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg ★★★★

📍 Fanny-von-Lehnert-Straße 7, Salzburg

"The room was spacious, but the facilities were old, and the hygiene needed improvement; the electric kettle still had limescale buildup. On the first day, we received two bottles of water, but amenities weren't replenished afterwards. The surrounding area wasn't great – dirty, messy, and generally poor. If you don't like staying with tour groups, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Korean tour groups were constantly chattering in the lobby. Whenever a group arrived, the iced water, chocolates, and fruit at the welcome bar were immediately wiped out, and the front desk did nothing to manage it."

Hotel Bristol Salzburg ★★★★★
"Facilities: The decoration is luxurious and elegant. Many music masters and celebrities have stayed here. The location is convenient, just opposite Mozart's birthplace. The breakfast is rich and exquisite. Parking is in the public underground parking lot behind, which is very close and there are parking coupons."

Plaza INN Salzburg Messe ★★★★
"The location is far away from the old town, but the bus stop is just right in front of the hotel where you could take the bus straight to the main attraction spots. It only takes about 15-18 mins. One confusing thing is that the name of the hotel is not written as plaza inn, and I thought I was sent to the wrong hotel. Overall experience, above average!"

Arte Hotel Salzburg ★★★★
"The hotel's location is extremely convenient, just a 5-minute walk from the train station. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, and there is also a supermarket at the train station, making it super convenient. The room was clean and tidy. However, the bathroom doesn't have a door—it's only separated from the bed by a glass panel. Because of this layout, the room is better suited for couples or families."

Hotel Schloss Mönchstein ★★★★★
"Beautiful environment and exquisite breakfast. Dinner can be had at the Glass Garden in the hotel. The hotel is built on the top of a mountain, and the castle can be seen opposite. The front desk also lent us a package ticket, which allows us to take the elevator to the commercial street for free and take the castle's cable car for free. If we don't go into the museum and Mozart Museum, I feel like we don't need to buy the Salzburg city package ticket."

Radisson Blu Hotel & Conference Centre, Salzburg ★★★★
"The room itself was very spacious and generally comfortable, so in terms of physical space and basic facilities, the experience was acceptable. However, several service-related details significantly affected my overall impression. First, this was the first hotel I stayed at in Europe that does not offer complimentary luggage storage, which was very inconvenient, especially for travelers arriving early or leaving later in the day. More importantly, there was a serious issue regarding privacy and housekeeping procedures. In most hotels, rooms are cleaned only when guests place a “please clean” sign on the door or explicitly request housekeeping. In this hotel, staff went door to door knocking, and when there was no response, they entered the room directly. This felt intrusive and disrespectful of guest privacy, and it was quite uncomfortable. It also seems inefficient and unnecessary for the staff themselves. While the room size and general comfort were fine, these service and management details were disappointing and do not meet the expectations of a hotel at this level. With better respect for guest privacy and clearer housekeeping protocols, the experience could be greatly improved."
