Find the Cheap Salzburg Hotels

Our family of three had a very comfortable stay, and the Sky Restaurant was great. The room is small, with two single beds and a sofa bed, which are very comfortable. The free mineral water is delicious. Parking is nearby and very convenient and fast. The nearby public transportation is very convenient. We went to Mirar Palace, the fortress, the church, etc. The public transportation is all within walking distance. The old town is bustling and the Christmas market is warm. There is one thing in particular that makes me so touched and grateful. When we checked out, we actually forgot a bag in the room, which also contained a child's iPad. On the highway to Vienna, we suddenly remembered that we couldn't remember where we put it. I quickly called the front desk, and they safely helped me check at the two entrances. If I didn't find it, I went to the room to search. Fortunately, we left it in the room, and they enthusiastically kept it for me, and we turned back to pick it up. The Astoria Hotel was convenient to the Airport on a No. 10 bus. A No. 22 bus from a bus stop 300m away will take you into the centre, but a short walk through the tunnel takes you into the old city. The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful. Our twin room had an enclosed balcony which was a nice addition. The breakfast included hot items, bacon, sausage and egg as well as the usual cereals, cold meats and cheese, teas and coffee as well as juices. We are used to having a kettle in hotel rooms wherever we go, to make hot drinks. This is not usually provided at The Astoria, but after mentioning it to staff we were given a kettle and tea bags etc.

Very beautiful and comfortable guesthouse, good service, breakfast is very delicious, and opposite Mozart apartment, Princess Cici once lived in this hotel. Attractions are all within walking distance! It's worth it!

I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. The Sach Hotel is famous in Austria. When I did the Raiders, I saw more of the Sach in Vienna. Less about Salzburg. This hotel's location is excellent. It is about 15 minutes walk to the old town centre and 10 minutes to the railway station. The hotel's room service delivered very good food at a reasonable price too. The room is of a good size and the bed is comfortable. The only thing I don't like is the noise of the vehicle clearing rubbish bins. It always woke me up before six in the morning. So choose the rooms on the garden side if there is a choice.

Near train station and bus stops, nice restaurants nearby, also a supermarket at the corner of the street. Overall very convenient. Room bit small and dim. Very appreciate of the small treats at lobby and friendly staff.

When I was looking for a hotel for a 1-night stay in Salzburg, I stumbled upon the listing for the Hyperion and took a chance. I wasn't familiar with the Hyperion hotel brand and didn't know much about Salzburg. Now, I have fallen under the spell of both the hotel and the city. The Hyperion is a fairly new hotel and it is in pristine shape. The room is rather generously sized compared to most of the European hotels I have stayed in thus far. The bathroom was particularly good -- with an American-style shower that featured both a handheld wand and a rain shower head. The separate water closet was a plus. The technology in the room (especially the lighting tech) is impressive, if not slightly confusing. Nice touch to have the Nescafe machine and the Mozart chocolates. The bed was very comfortable. The location, next to Mirabell Gardens, was great. The hotel staff was helpful. We arrived early, and the front desk gave us tips on how to spend our afternoon, drawing out some local attractions on the map and suggesting we get a Salzburg card (we already had them). They also gave us a recommendation for dinner, but we were turned away at the restaurant, which was full. In stead, we dined at the restaurant in the hotel, which was quite nice. Service was solid. Breakfast is a tad expensive, but they do offer a wide assortment of breakfast items (hot and cold) as well as eggs made to order. Champagne was also available for mimosas. Nice touch.

Booked a big bed room, gave a suite, and both children were enough! Because the next day I had to catch the early train, I didn’t have breakfast.
