"Very beautiful and comfortable guesthouse, good service, breakfast is very delicious, and opposite Mozart apartment, Princess Cici once lived in this hotel. Attractions are all within walking distance! It's worth it!"
"The design of the bathroom was awkward, resulting in the floor outside of the shower cubicle to ”flood” every time. Shower gel was empty for 2 days and it took a call for them to replenish it, while towels were not refreshed. Lastly the much vaulted rooftop restaurant does not have a view, and service was appalling, preferring to provide service non Asian customers and neglect my table. And the server will retort you when you brought it up. Only saving grace was location"
"Recommended, cost-effective. Clean and quiet, breakfast is not bad. In addition to the place is not in the city center, but the bus stop is across the road. The restaurant in the brewery/beer museum not far away is superb, the fried pork chops are delicious, and the fresh beer is super delicious. The environment is clean and spacious. The hotel also gave a free beer ticket. We ate for two days because it was really delicious 😋"

"The location of the hotel was further away from the train station, but it is very close to the old town and most of the local attractions.
The hotel promotes and encourages its customers to save water by offering free glass of wine per room night for reusing towels."
"The house is by the river. The kids are very happy. The location is very good, and it is very convenient to go to the old town and attractions. The house is carefully decorated. But for some reason, my husband is allergic here. I don't know if it is the dust on the seat or the bugs. I asked the front desk to see if there are spare medicines, and was told that there is a pharmacy that is not closed. There are several waitresses at breakfast who are not very enthusiastic. The breakfast is very rich."
"The carpet smells so bad that my nose is a little sensitive. I won't stay in this kind of hotel anymore.
There was no concierge when I arrived at the door. I looked for the concierge for a long time but he was hiding in the corner chatting with the guy at the front desk.
Every morning, the waiter would knock on the door to see if anyone was there, regardless of whether there was a ”Do Not Disturb” sign on the door. It was annoying.
The breakfast was very good and the waiters were very handsome"
"The hotel breakfast is very rich, and there are many kinds of drinks in the small refrigerator in the room, which are free to enjoy. The location is also good, and the hotel facilities are of course impeccable. Although the room price is a bit expensive, it is worth experiencing."
"Hotel location is good. There are also many meals around. The breakfast type is generally the same. The stay has not changed much for two days. The room is not very big. The whole hotel including the room decoration feels very industrial. In addition, there are no slippers, toothbrushes 😂"
"I have lived in a more satisfactory hotel in a multi-country tour of Europe. It is a mountain road of a small castle. It is very good to park. The hotel has its own small parking lot. After entering the door, the staff welcomed us warmly and let us sit in the bar with free welcome drinks, the hotel is said to have existed in the 14th century and has been renovated and well maintained. There is a nice fountain in front of the gate that feels aristocratic. There should be more than 20 rooms in total, the room is clean and warm, the view outside the small balcony is the entrance garden. There is also a welcome fruit plate and private welcome letter in the room. It is worth mentioning that the restaurant in the hotel is a star Michelin, the food is delicious in many Michelin restaurants, in addition to the dishes there are many appetizers and petit fours desserts. There are also many types of breakfast (the European general breakfast is relatively simple), and you can even order foie gras, caviar, steak, etc. Overall, the service is very warm, you can feel the sincerity and enthusiasm of the service staff, and Christmas in an overseas holiday can be said to be very touched."
"The most satisfied hotel during this trip is also the only one in Germany and Austria. The air-conditioned breakfast is rich. All service staff wear national costumes. The hotel building is very retro. The old building is spacious. There is a problem with the beautiful small fountain in the garden. This time I was renting a car. I stopped at this hotel for a day and the next day at the hotel where my friend stayed. The original saying was ”Everyone said that we only have to stop for a day and we can't prove it.” I hope that the facilities of the capitalist country will further improve the entire Salzburg. There are fewer clean historical sites"

Excellent
GGuest UserWe had a wonderful experience in this B&B. The room was clean, which echoed with all the reviews here. You could experience the passion and perseverance of the owners in keeping everything not only neat and tidy, but amazingly dustless and spotless! If you look at the mirror, and the tissue box in the toilet, the level of shine and reflection is at its top! The bed was big and comfortable. The design of the room was modern. Tea and coffee are available inside the room.
Breakfast comprised of a wide variety of fresh fruits chopped into small cubes and delicately put into little cocktail glasses, all sorts of bread, yoghurt, ham, spreads. Alex would welcome all customers warmly with offerings of coffee, tea and eggs that were made by him. I saw on reviews that he made perfect eggs and it was really true! The fried eggs that I ordered were prepared with crispy edges, what a morning delight!
All the details and passion ( and the amount of time and dedication one can imagine) that this family put into this B&B deserve a 5-star rating. From its hardware to attitude, this is the best I have ever experienced as a tourist.

Outstanding
携携程旅行顾问JoaLooking at the high-net commentary, I finally saw the charm of the front desk elder sister, warm and cheerful, humorous and intimate. One seems to have settled the hotel's work. I saw that we had arranged two large rooms and introduced the room personally. In-house facilities and usage, proud to tell you that these functions are made in Germany, not only send a gift bag in each room, but also tell you that all the drinks in the refrigerator are free, and the service attitude is the best in the entire Eastern European line. However, there is no air conditioning in the room. It is estimated that the old building cannot be installed. Only Dyson's fan, the room we stayed in is still a bit stuffy! There are three large windows in the friend's room, which is well ventilated and more comfortable than us!

DDewiskiI booked a room in this hotel a couple of months before arrival so we still get the better price. We arrived almost midnight and greeted with a smile by Nikolas. Most of my request were fulfilled the first night, that is to have it on the higher floor, far from the elevator and facing the back yard / hills. Couldn't get our extra pillow the first night but they were there the next night on. The room is spacious and clean, so did the bathroom. The bed is huge but maybe a little too soft for us who are used to a firm mattress. The location is within walking distance to train/bus stations, mirabelle garden / palace, the river and old town. It also felt safe to walk in the evening. We did not have the breakfast nor tried the bar so we can't say much about them. One other good thing about the location, the bus stop is just about 100 m away from the hotel and you can take a bus (number 2) from airport and get off just in front of the Hotel. Very convenient !
GGuest UserLocation is great, very close to the train station and there are lots of restaurants around. We like this green environment but the only thing we would recommend is there’s no chair and table inside the room. Only a bench under the tv section and no back support. there’s a swing chair though.
GGuest UserPool and fitness centre was great-refreshing to have a swim after long days of walking.
Close to main train station and 20-30 min walk to Salzburg old town!
On arrival hairs on bathroom floor from previous guest.
I got walked in on around 9.15am as i was getting changed by hotel staff- they did not knock and it wasn’t near or after check out time - wasn’t impressed!! I checked out on time. - then my room should have been checked/cleaned.
AAnonymous UserThe hotel was quite far from the city center, which made getting around a bit inconvenient. However, the staff were absolutely amazing—friendly, attentive, and always ready to assist.
The room was super clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable despite the location. If you don’t mind being a bit away from the main attractions, this is a great place to stay for the excellent service and cleanliness.
GGuest UserThe room was very comfortable, very close to the station, just a short walk, the heating was sufficient, the sound insulation was good, and the English communication was no problem. Local accommodations need to be paid separately (for a total of 3.1) for taxes and fees.
BBeccaaaaaLEverything is perfecto except a snoring roommate.
I booked 2 nights at this hostel. The location is just 10mins from Salzburg main (train) station. Facilities were clean & their staffs were friendly. The common areas were cozy and the atmosphere made it easy to meet other travelers. The only downside was my snoring roomate whom I found out he was at the wrong bed. The 1st night he started to snore from 10pm to 4am, non stop. The 2nd night from 1am till morning 🙄 His snoring made the rest of us a bit hard to sleep. If you're a light sleeper, bringing earplugs might be a good idea.
SSKMCarmenDidn’t really have a good experience on this but thank god Trip did compensate a small fee. The room is good, the hotel is good BUT whoever that has booked please read this:-
1. Make sure they send you a pin code to enter the hotel at least 3 days before or else keep emailing and calling before you reach. There is no workers all automated if you reach and have no code to enter you are stranded! Yes there is a phone to call but Im not sure why the phone doesn’t work properly!! I called 7 times only to 1 time they pick up. And finally after waiting in the cold for 30 mins they let me know the pin code to enter. Its very hard to contact the hotel maybe because im not using local phone number. Contacted trip and they themselves couldn’t contact them in time. According to the hotel, there should be an email from them with instructions and code.
2. Yes, I do love the concept of having no one to check in but at least leave like an ipad or a screen for guest to check and contact???
3. Rooms were nice, blinds were automatic. Clean and have smart tv. They do have elevators thank god.
Besides the ‘PIN number’ enter check in, its all good.
Aam HoHotel location is quite convenient within walking distance from metro. There is a bus stop near the hotel too.
The main entrance is slightly away from the main road so actually not easy to spot.
We checked in quite late and there is no one at the counter which we find it a bit unusual though we could hear someone talking.
Overall the staff is fine, willing to explain where we could go for sightseeing, which bus stop has the ticket machine, even suggest us to buy a 24hr ticket so we saved the hassle to keep buy bus/metro tickets.
