Great stay Recently renovated Got a great deal at €88 for a couple for 2 nights Check in easy, staff were professional and courteous and the stay was enjoyable It’s a bit far from the city approximately 3 Km but we just used Uber If you’re fit and don’t mind the walk, it’s only about a 15 min walk but, the Mrs. couldn’t manage it They don’t do breakfast but it’s a budget place and I can’t complain 100% recommendation from us

We book this hotel for 1 night. It is located near the train station which you can easily reach by foot. I believe this hotel was recently renovated. The room was very nice and well decorated. The bed was comfortable. The bathroom was nice as well. You can enjoy a coffee and croissants for free at the lobby. The hotel is located not too far from the old town and maybe a 5-10 minutes walk to Mirabell palace. This hotel is ideal if you plan to arrive or leave the city by train.

This must be the most disgusting hotel I have stayed in since visiting Romania and Bulgaria in the 1990s. The windows can't have been cleaned since the turn of the century, the carpet was filthy with I dontwanttoknowwhat, the curtain was half torn down. I was greeted with a black hair in the sink (I am blonde), the two soap dispensers in the bathroom were both empty and broken. The chocolate on the pillow was moldy. YUCK. And that for a three-digit Euro rate.

It served it's purpose for an overnight stay. It was very noisy, earplugs were the way forward and i had a good night's sleep. With out earplugs it would have been impossible. The hotel is tired. The pictures of the breakfast room are old, the balcony is rotting and unsafe to go on. As a solo traveller i did not feel that safe as there is no night security and when I got back in the evening the fire exit door was wide open anyone could enter. The plus sides it is an easy walk from the station and a nice stroll along the river to the old town. Biggest plus is the bus stop for no 2 bus for the airport is a few meters away

We got to our room and there’s 1 pillow and 1 twin blanket for 2 people. We’ve been on the phone with the hotel 4 times and they’re not sending a pillow or blanket for the second person. We asked them to just put them in a taxi and the front desk guy just said no. I’m literally going to be sleeping using the towels for a pillow and the curtains from the window as a blanket. This place is absolute trash.

I mainly picked this hotel because it was only a 10min walk to the train station. Although closer to the train station, the downside is that it is a 20min walk to the center. There's not much around this area, except for 1 Italian restaurant next door, which was closed anyway on the day I arrived. There is no breakfast available at this hotel but luckily, while I was looking for a laundromat (My Laundry) in the area, I stumbled upon a nice cafe/restaurant (called MUS. Café & Tagesbar), past over the bridge about a 5min walk away. Also across the street from the hotel, hidden at a small spot behind the building, is a great breakfast place called Little Light deli & café. As for my room, it was quite uncomfortable & very noisy, esp. since my room was on the street side on the 3rd floor. There is no a/c in the room, and with the Aug heat, it wasn't pleasant. A fan would've been fine but there isn't one either. I opened the windows to get some air & ventilation in the room, but then the street traffic was so noisy that I didn't sleep well during my 4night stay here. And it seemed like there was an ambulance or police siren going by every couple of hours or so. On a Friday night, there were a bunch of guys just loitering and being loud across the street probably until 3am or so. No sleep for me that night! There is an elevator but there are times that it didn't work. Luckily, I was only on the 3rd floor so I could take the stairs when the elevator wasn't available. When I checked in (luckily I arrived early enough in the afternoon), the reception told me that the front desk is only open 8am-4pm. There really isn't much of a front desk so it's best to message ahead if arriving after hours. Overall, this hotel was disappointing & not really worth the price.
