Good location close to the pedestrian area and old town, decent breakfast and clean room. No kettle, water or tea in the room, with a mini bar instead.

The hotel is very well located: you can arrive by car in front of it, park in the garage (20€ a day) and easily reach the Salzburg historic centre by foot. The street for the centre soon becomes pedestrian with a lot of shops, bars, little supermarkets, restaurants. The lobby is elegant and receptionists are kind and speak English. Our room was large, comfortable, silent, and clean. Bathroom ok. I advise you to have breakfast in the hotel: it is cheap, rich and quality. The room’s price is high, but all hotels are expensive in Salzburg. If you walk shortly in the opposite direction to the centre, you can find a place suitable for a quick lunch (UNA) and a nice Biergarten for dinner. Both are convenient.

One of the receptionists spoke at least three languages, the staff was available 24/7 and the bar is very reasonable priced. Room clean. The reason why I'm giving 5 stars is mostly for how professional the staff was, helping us avoiding the touristy spots for meals, and giving us advice on how to continue our road trip to southern gemany

Nice simple and comfortable hotel in a good location on the edge of the new town about 10 minutes walk from the river and central area. Rooms are very clean and comfortable , very quiet. Excellent breakfast service and small friendly bar. Staff very helpful. Good secure parking for bicycles in the underground garage. Plenty of restaurant options close by.

Location: great location on the ped zone to explore Salzburg (not in the middle of town- a few Blocks removed so a 10-15 Minute walk to the river). Minimum 20 min walk to main train station. Very average as far as rooms and service go. Rooms are dated, temp control is impossible and it is also impossible to not flood the entire bathroom from the shower stall. Staff: hit or miss. One very nice gentleman at reception, another was violently tossing garbage and angry when guests asked him a question. No thanks. Breakfast is good, many options. Small reception & lobby. Small gathering space nice to hang out with friends after a long day. I wouldn’t have wanted to stay here more than 1-2 nights. It didn’t offer any real comfort, literally just sufficient for overnight.
Response from Property: Thanks for your commens, we are 800 meters from the Geo center of the town which is the Salzachr River which you reach only walking through the pedestrian area. If you shut the shower doors properly then water will not spill on the floor, Hot or cold is a very personal opinion, we have at times guests wearing a t shirt for breakfast and on the next table guests wearing winter coats, general temperature at the hotel is always kept above 21° during the day and 18° during the night hours, in all rooms you can regulate the temperature you wish to have. Last Hotel Renovation January 2023 rooms are exactly as the photos you can see online, not more not less, size of lobby and bar are related to the number of rooms, not small but enough Reviews should be contructive yours is not Regards

Good position, but that’s it Average breakfast, room cheaply outfitted with stupid shower recess that did not have a lip on it, so bathroom flooded every time you had a shower — unpleasant and dangerous
