The location is excellent, within walking distance of all the museums and the square. The staff were helpful as well. Breakfast was adequate but basic. The main issues with our stay related to the hygiene of our room. When we arrived, the shower/bathroom had not been cleaned properly - there were hairs all over the floor and walls. The bathroom was very small, and the toilet rarely flushed properly. The beds were very uncomfortable and the noise from the street was very loud. Overall, the location was superb but we wouldn't stay again

I reserved a room with a view of the sea or the city, and did not get that. Also, I needed internet to work, and the internet was awful. The next morning, I explained to the man at reception and he said I was given a room because the stairs were too hard to climb (We are young and fit, not sure what the problem with the stairs was). So I left two nights early, and the Pousada refused to give me a refund. And the man at reception was condescending to boot. I do not recommend this Pousada at all. There are way better--CLEANER--ones nearby with views.

Old and poorly maintained pousada. The room we had was horrible: just a bottom sheet and a kind of fouta above, crumbling walls, old windows, furniture worn by humidity, rusty fridge, noisy air conditioning, TV from another age on only one channel and still with bad reception. Ah the welcome is with a smile but what a scam!! We had paid in advance for 4 nights and left without asking for our rest after the first night! In addition it is very noisy and poorly insulated.

Ótima estadia, staff super prestativa, quarto simples, porém limpo e espaçoso, café da manhã satisfatório para a categoria, ótima localização e o quarto com varanda foi a "cereja do bolo" para apreciar o movimento em segurança.

Somos uma turma de amigo q todo ano temos um encontro em Salvador, no Pelo ! Mas tem q ser na Pousada Solar dos Romanos!! É a nossa casa!! Juntinho e misturados com o nosso Eduardo!! Não queremos outro lugar, pois estamos em casa, no nosso quintal!! E no olho do furacão!!! Aonde tudo de bom acontece!!Somos aguardados e recebidos com muito amor,muita alegria 😂 e carinho!! É bom saber que temos um cantinho especial todo ano aguardando a nossa volta!! Ficamos contado as horas,cada minuto para voltarmos e dar aquele abraço apertado no nosso Eduardo!!!

Estive com meu namorado na pousada entre 14-15/12/2021, e amamos a estadia! A pousada é muito aconchegante, ficamos num quarto com vista pro mar, o café da manhã é simples mas delicioso, e a pousada tem muitas facilidades como portaria 24h, filtro d’agua gelada disponível, além de microondas e geladeira, frigobar no quarto. Pra quem procura comodidade e conforto, é o lugar! A noite passeamos pela região, que não passa carro, e haviam muitos bares com música. O acesso da praça onde param os carros é fácil, basta subir a rua. Voltaríamos e recomendamos!

É um lugar que a gente se sente em casa,a familia dos donos é como se fosse a nossa,o café da manhã excelente,somos amigos da família toda.Recomendo, o ponto ótimo tudo acontece ali por perto.Ja tem mais ou menos uns seis anos que vou todo ano,o único problema é a saudade do lugar,gostaria de ir mais vezes .
