Staff were extremely attentive and helpful. Room was basic but the bathroom and bed was great! We had a sea view which was gorgeous to wake up to. Restaurant was nice and food was delicious but felt very empty. Sauna was a great perk of booking the room!

We had a really nice stay, the location is beautiful and peaceful , food nice and staff first class. Rooms nice and comfortable but perhaps a little dated. Enjoyed sauna and outside gym, lake swimming and kayaking. What more do you need for a relaxing stay!

Peaceful and quiet with beautiful surroundings. Lovely food and very kind staff. Lovely spot for bathing and beach house with saunas. We stayed 4 days in a comfort suite. We could easily have spent more days there. Close to Stockholm and Tyresta natural park.

We stayed in the Love Suite. The view was simply breathtaking, and the room was spacious, with its own lovely terrace. While the room had all the amenities you would expect, such as a Nespresso coffee machine, it also had some unexpected luxuries like a fully electric bed. However, something else made our stay unforgettable. We had some special requests, like yoga blankets and extra coffee. Everything was handled perfectly. The staff was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The best part, though, was lying in bed and looking directly out at the Baltic Sea.

1. Right after booking my inbox was flooded with emails from Var Gard. Too much, unnecessary, irritating. 2. In many places there was a continous, loud, irritating, musiclike sound. You advertise your establishment as close to nature but you cover nature with abominable sound. These are two aspects that can be corrected quickly and easily. Otherwise this lodge is very impressive and most agreeable. Although a bit pricey.

Great location for a relaxing stay. We only stayed for one night but we loved the location and property. It was great to be able to walk on a trail and enjoy some nature but also bask in the sun while reading. We also enjoyed looking at the various art around the hotel. Make sure you ask where the closest parking is for your building. We really enjoyed the cafe as well. Pier was under construction so we were not able to use.

Comfortable room. Nice sauna Competent and very kind staff, everything is perfect and nice beautiful view and there is plenty of activity you can do. Definitely I recommend, and will be coming again in the nearest future. Good Friday offer is totally worth it

Vår Gård is a typical conference hotel and did not meet our expectations when travelling as a couple. The room was really tiny and the location unpleasant - our window was at ground level facing a car park. The breakfast was the only part that met our expectations. At check out I told the receptionist that we had not been happy with the room. Then one from the staff said that well you should have booked a suite and then you would probably have been pleased. That was an extremely unprofessional remark.
