The location of the hotel is perfect since it’s close to the airport, and it’s also a plus that they offer a free shuttle ride to and from the airport. However, the room itself has a lot of issues. First, there wasn’t enough lighting to brighten the entire room. They only had lamps, and some of them had burnt-out bulbs. The door lock couldn’t be opened from the inside, so we had to call the front desk every time to have them unlock it for us.
The laundry room only had one washer and one dryer, so it was on a first-come, first-served basis. As a hotel, they should have expected more customers needing to do laundry and provided additional machines. This setup caused long waits.
The TV was outdated—no Netflix or any modern features. The air conditioning also didn’t work properly; when you used the heater, it kept malfunctioning and sometimes didn’t work at all. I even got sick for three days during my stay, and the hotel didn’t have basic first-aid supplies. Pharmacies are quite far, and in case of an emergency, they didn’t even have a thermometer or Tylenol available.
The hot water had to be requested from the front desk instead of being conveniently provided in the breakfast area.
The front desk staff were mostly Indian, and while I understand accents can differ, one of them had a very thick accent. When I politely asked him to repeat what he said over the phone because I couldn’t understand him, he got impatient and yelled at me.
Overall, I would never book here again. This hotel needs a lot of improvement.
