Nice, modern and clean hotel with gym, pool and spa. Friendly and efficient staff. Walking distance to both Portaventura World and Salou.

We stayed here 26th April 2024 for 2 weeks, Laia & Crazy are absolutely amazing and very accommodating, they will both go out there way to make your stay very exciting, our kids absolutely loved them, the hotel would not be the same without them, therfore a special shout out to the entitlement team they are all amazing! The rooms were really nice and clean and the food was different everyday. The staff are so amazing they definitely make sure everyone has a holiday to remember. There is so much going on for kids and family’s everyday and the staff all get involved as well. The staff are so friendly to everyone and they always have a smile on their faces. It’s definitely somewhere to go and I will definitely be going back.

Building work in progress at this hotel no pool open it’s been noisy every morning all day now for the past 3 days and the pool is closed. Reception just tell you it only for today which is untrue as it’s now been 3 day so far and still closed. Jet2 say deal with it when you get home nothing they can do this again is not a solution and dosnt help now! The hotel offer no gesture of good will just tell you to go across road to there other hotel which is full to the brim and has no sun beds free so this is not a solution unless you want to stand up all day by the pool. Really poor service from this hotel very disappointing would not return.

This is a great value for money hotel which is why even though I suggest a couple of improvements I would still give it 5 stars. Check-in: we arrived early so room wasn’t ready. Reception stored our luggage securely and we were able to hire towels so we could enjoy the pool area. Room: very clean & tidy with a decent sized balcony overlooking the pool. For 2 adults & 2 children it could do with a little more storage but we were able to store cases under the bed and on the balcony so no big deal. We had one issue with the shower overflowing which was dealt with within 30mins. We thought that being next to the lift/stairs it would be noisy but we didn’t hear a thing and slept really well. Pool: We loved that the pool didn’t open until 10am so sunbeds couldn’t be reserved at silly O Clock. We always managed to get a sunbed in the sun. We want to mention the man who looked after the pool area, we watched him from our balcony every morning & night thoroughly cleaning the area and putting the sunbeds back in perfect lines, he clearly took pride in his work and made sure the area was super clean, tidy and safe. There is a pool bar serving food, ice creams and lovely cold Amstel beer, which I enjoyed, but the girls serving could do with putting a smile on their faces. The pool area did close for around 2.5 days for essential maintenance and it was noisy to sit on your balcony of a morning. Although it needed to be done it was an inconvenience as we couldn’t get a subbed at the sister hotel on one of the days so ended up having to pay to go into the water park down the road, the next day however, we did get a bed at the sister hotel over the road, and enjoyed the atmosphere over there. A key tip to give families is that they only allow very small inflatables in the pool. The hotel really needs to inform you of this before you travel or on book in as we spent €30 on a doughnut for my little girl and she was really excited, only for the lifeguard to rudely tell her she couldn’t have it. She was very upset & disappointed. Food; the food was really excellent, and the chefs were friendly. You would have to be stupidly fussy not to find something you liked. Loads of variety and something different on the buffet selection every night but always home made pizza, pasta & chips for the not so adventurous. The female staff in the restaurant could be friendlier but I understand their frustration when so many families were wasting food by getting so much more than they could eat, and leaving their tables & floor in such a mess when they left. Breakfast always offered freshly cooked pancakes, fried eggs, omelettes and toasties at the show cooking stations. As well as cooked produce, salad, pastries & continental offerings, it really was a great selection. Bar/entertainment: the entertainment team made it look effortless to include everyone. My daughters loved joining in with the darts & bingo, and the shows in the evenings that we caught looked fun. There are plen

This is a great hotel, which is a relief as I have had poor experiences with my previous few holidays elsewhere. I can honestly say that the food was tremendous, unlike most hotel's. Everything I chose to eat was very tasty and there was a great selection. No annoying toaster to deal with either, the toast was cooked on a large grill by the cook so that was an added bonus. The only negative about the restaurant was some parent's allowed the their kids a free run of the area by going up for their own meals, some could barely see over the counter and were dropping stuff so it is an accident waiting to happen. The beds are queen size I think and very comfy, the only thing about that is there is little room at either side so the beds can only be separated by moving the small cabinets at either side to get the beds apart. The fresh sheets on arrival seemed to have tiny stains but as they were fresh, I'm sure they were clean. I do feel that the top grey sheet wasn't fresh based on the crinkles on it but I can't guarantee that. The sink wasn't draining but this was dealt with swiftly once I reported it, so no big deal. There was no charge for the safe as you hold the room card against it to open and close it, another bonus The hotel is around a 10 minute walk from the beach and main bars and restaurants, it is also isn't far from the theme park. I would definitely return to this hotel if I came back to Salou

Arrived early morning, so our room wasn't ready. We were able to use all the facilities whilst we waited and also the spa (although we chose not to use the spa on this occasion). Once in our room, it was immaculate, bright and nice modern decor. Aircon worked! I asked for a quiet room and was given the top floor with a pool view. It can be quite noisy at night time as the pool area remains open (just not the pool) so there were lots of kids running about and enjoying themselves. The balcony doors are defo not sound proof but didn't bother us much. As expected, the walls are a little thin and you could hear a bit of noise from neighbours. The beds were a little hard. ... We slept but not the best sleep. We usually go to adult only but wanted a bit of atmosphere and we certainly got that. Activities in the daytime, music playing the whole day as well which just added to the atmosphere. Plenty of loungers, there was no mad morning rush (but imagine this could be a bit different in the height of season). Pool bar really good and prices were reasonable indeed. Staff work so hard keeping the grounds so clean and well maintained. Animation team were very good getting everyone involved. Crazy was so enthusiastic! Lifeguard was a little grumpy... 1 young lad got in the pool in a tshirt (clearly uncomfortable to be half naked) and he had to get out as apparently a tshirt on a lad wasn't allowed but a young girl could cover up and wasn't a problem??? Found this very strange. Food was plentiful and every meal we had was very delish! We ate out a few times because there were a few places we liked and wanted to return. The show cooking was really good and my husband enjoyed a freshly made omelette every morning. Even the pickiest eater could find something, no problem. We went half board and could swap evening meal for lunch if we wanted to. The hotel has a very good app you can use to report any issues with your room or request extra things like another blanket or more toilet roll etc. Would we return..... Yep we absolutely would!
