Nice, modern and clean hotel with gym, pool and spa. Friendly and efficient staff. Walking distance to both Portaventura World and Salou.

We stayed here 26th April 2024 for 2 weeks, Laia & Crazy are absolutely amazing and very accommodating, they will both go out there way to make your stay very exciting, our kids absolutely loved them, the hotel would not be the same without them, therfore a special shout out to the entitlement team they are all amazing! Liz & Jay room 1646.

The rooms were really nice and clean and the food was different everyday. The staff are so amazing they definitely make sure everyone has a holiday to remember. There is so much going on for kids and family’s everyday and the staff all get involved as well. The staff are so friendly to everyone and they always have a smile on their faces. It’s definitely somewhere to go and I will definitely be going back.

Rooms and basic and clean, as you'd hope in a three star hotel. The pool was a little cool, but in May, perhaps what you'd expect. However during our stay, the pool was closed for two days, the day before and after we were expected to put up with the dusty drilling of the tiles around the pool. We were directed to another hotel across the road, another from the same group, which was much better in terms of temperature but with two hotels using the one pool, very crowded. Was very disappointing. The food was lovely. I'm coeliac and each time I arrived and asked for gluten free food, I was given a run down of all the food on offer and what was safe for me and what wasn't. I was provided with gluten free toasts, cereals, muffins and separately cooked chips and pasta. Ibrahim and his team really made me feel secure.

Returned home yesterday after a 7 night stay, our first time in Salou and any of the Ohtels brand. Our check in was very prompt and the reception staff were very friendly, informative and catered well to any of our requests regarding kettle, cot hire and pool view etc. my only suggestion would be to relook at the policy for cot hire deposits being returned. When checking out we returned kettle and reminded we also needed our deposit for cot too so much we obviously weren’t able to bring down from room which meant the reception team were trying to contact someone to check cot in room whilst also dealing with a huge line of guests trying to check in. This seemed to make things a bit difficult not only for us waiting around but also for the reception team too who do their job so well and this seems a little unnecessary if something else could be figured out. The rooms are 2 double beds with small night stands either side which works totally fine with having the balcony available to sit on in the sunshine. The shower room along with rest of the room is very modern. My only constructive criticism is that the storage isn’t suitable for a family of 4 and perhaps some more shelf’s added in to the alcoves would make better for unpacking - we lived out of cases this time though as opposed to usually unpacking and it was okay for a week but would of been a bit of a hassle if had been for 2 weeks etc. For the first 2 days of our holiday we were worried when first looking out our balcony to a large hole being dug at the pool and it being closed for 2 days - these things happen and are outwith the hotels control to a certain extent but unfortunately it meant a very loud couple of days on the balcony and an early wake up call to drilling. Food was as you’d expect for a 3 star buffet style meal, always something for us to eat and for what you’d expect. My only suggestion would be adding things like chicken dippers/nuggets and a sweets section etc for children, had this at other chain hotels of the same rating and made life easier at meal times with small children. I personally found food and staff in dining hall lovely for myself though. We never went down to the evening entertainment as it was too late for us with mini disco at 9pm and rest from 10pm onwards. If it were slightly earlier (even 8pm it’d make a big difference to many families as there were a few in the same position). Otherwise from what I could see on our last night, when entertainment moved outside, it looks fun and full of energy and great for the whole family. I’d recommend ear plugs if you have a pool view but again it’s a holiday and there’s bound to be noise and entertainment so just a suggestion to bring ear plugs to adapt for light sleepers. Overall a lovely first time in Salou for our family and would recommend to families to go and have a great time.

Had a brilliant stay here last month. The hotel is such great value for money with amazing staff. They are truly a credit to the hotel! Food is grand, exactly what you would expect from a budget hotel. Night entertainment is brilliant for the kids. The rooms are small but they have everything you need (except perhaps a bath😒). Will definitely return. Big shoutout to Dani and Laia!

Building work in progress at this hotel no pool open it’s been noisy every morning all day now for the past 3 days and the pool is closed. Reception just tell you it only for today which is untrue as it’s now been 3 day so far and still closed. Jet2 say deal with it when you get home nothing they can do this again is not a solution and dosnt help now! The hotel offer no gesture of good will just tell you to go across road to there other hotel which is full to the brim and has no sun beds free so this is not a solution unless you want to stand up all day by the pool. Really poor service from this hotel very disappointing would not return.
