We are just back from holiday here and were there for a week. It’s a great hotel, it was our first holiday away with our 4 year old who has some sensory issues, so we decided to do something a bit more run of the mill, and try Spain. We were a bit nervous on how it would go because of our kids issues but we had nothing to worry about. The hotel is great, it’s ran well and the rooms are big and spacious. We were in the new bit and the rooms are lovely and modern and clean. If anything the air con works too well. There is a big pool for older kids and then a really good sized splash pool with games and a slide for younger kids. The only negatives I could really mention was the English unfortunately who drank alcohol from morning until night and were unable to look after their children properly and safely. This made me feel a bit uncomfortable. But I tried my best to ignore and filter this out. The food in the all inclusive restaurant is good and a real good selection. The fresh salad bar is amazing and so is the dessert bit. I am someone who likes hot food, and the hotel have added microwaves throughout the restaurant, so you can easily heat your food if you want. Nice touch. There is ice cream on tap and beer and cocktails on tap, this is cool. The hotel itself is about a 2 minute walk from the beach and shops. The beach was clean and surprisingly quiet. The kids club is amazing and the girls that run it are so friendly, my kid loved it. This allowed us to go to the gym every day and work off the extra calories we consumed. The gym itself is really good, it’s obviously been refurbed too and was really good for us to break up the days a bit. My kid loved the discos at the end of the night and made some little friends there. The only real negative about the hotel apart from the drinkers is the pillows weren’t great, but that would not stop me from going back. My tip for anyone going is to ask the bar staff to make you a cappuccino, they are great!! The strawberry ice cream is amazing too. So if you are a picky eater, fill up on ice cream 😁. Great hotel and a decent enough spot

The good points: delightful spacious room overlooking a golf course, clean and tidy throughout, friendly staff, and varied food of a good quality (although it sometimes could have been hotter). A particular mention for Miryam, the TUI rep who's English was amazing and her help very welcome.Criticism: the 'restaurant' was more of an over-full canteen with long queues outside and mayhem within as people scrambled for food. The entertainment team were lack lustre, and for us the evening show was too late. The towels in the rooms were very thin and the toiletries basic. Other points: The hotel is definitely geared towards families rather than couples, there is not much of interest within the area, although Tarragona and Reus were engaging. The bus service was great!

Just came back from a 1 week holiday as a group of 6 adults and 2 under 5s. Firstly, I'll list the good things about this place, as there weren't many: We had a room on the first floor with a decent view of the pools, the food was decent enough at times and the snacks and self serve drinks were ideal and had variety. Now, let's address the bad: The rooms were very basic and beige and outdated. They could do with a spruce up. The cleaners cleaned your rooms when and if they felt like it when the do not disturb sign was off and they cleaned it to a very minimal basic standard, our bed sheets weren't changed once during our stay, just made up with the same dirty sheets and the towels were rarely changed. Upon arrival, the man at check-in was quite abrupt and spoke very broken English and couldn't quite grasp the concept that we were a group of 8 with 3 rooms booked and despite the family room being ready and mine and my partner's room being ready, my parents had to wait almost an hour for theirs, after a long day of travelling. The offerings at lunch and tea time were hit and miss, sometimes the food was fully stocked and there were various options for all but some days at meal times, the food was cold, lacking in choice and not restocked to cater for the masses of guests. Considering we came all inclusive, you had to pay a refundable deposit of 10 euros PER beach towel, a part refundable deposit of 25 euros for a key to the safe in your room to keep your valuables in, 14 non refundable euros if you wanted 1 of the 2 family beach beds by the pool and the adults only bar terrace with pool was off limits to all inclusive guests, as that was also including a fee. If you wanted a BOTTLE of WATER from the bar, it was 1 euro, whereas bottles of wine were included in all-inclusive. Where is the logic here? Some of the meal time staff were smiley and polite, whereas most were abrupt and just plain rude and looked like they really didn't want to be there. The spa amenities, i.e., the Turkish baths, sauna, steam room, and hot tub, were great. However, you were conned into paying for a swim cap, or else you couldn't use them. The entertainment staff were very lacking, they run activities, but expect you to just look at the timetable and join in, none of them announce the activities over the microphone or come round and ask you to join, I have never stayed in a hotel where the entertainment team have been less interested in getting the guests to join in. The lifeguards were useless at their actual job role. Children were allowed to climb on top of waterslides and up them and stand on high walls and play in the pool unsupervised by a parent. The only thing they were interested in was standing and chatting to each other and turfing off people's belongings if they'd left their sunbeds for less than 20 minutes. We were explicity told that sunbeds could be left unoccupied with belongings on for no longer than 30 minutes, however, one day, we walked to the local supe

Avoid at all costs if your comming with family and kids, I’m just back from an 11 night stay and wouldn’t go back again, staff were all sour faced and never cracked a smile, the lifeguards do nothing but moan my son spent two days at the pool with his water ring with the lifeguards not saying a word then they told my son he couldn’t use a water ring in pool even though I told him he could not swim so left the pool to see less than 5 mins later another kid was in pool with a ring and nothing was said !! One particular staff member behind tue jar was extremely rude and moaned when I asked for help with a machine in the arcade the foods average wouldn’t think for the life of me it’s a 4 star hotel ! Saved up all year round for this absolute shambles !!

Was apprehensive about our visit after reading reviews and I can be picky. So here’s a candid view of our experience and low down of things you might want to know. Married couple travelling with a 9yr old. Stayed in EP 2. Signage outside is awful like something from dusk till dawn, however don’t let that put you off. Reception staff were efficient and gave a decent intro to hotel/case storage. Were helpful in getting us to come back to check room avail before the official check in. Stayed in a junior suite, floor 3 overlooking hotel 3. Nice room and glad we upgraded. Before you book, look at the room pics as I’d say you get what you see. Plenty of clothes storage, plugs etc. shower was good. Asked for more pillows. No problem and they were brought to our room within 20 mins. Air con is not the coolest but when it’s 30 degrees outside it was a welcome relief. Food - ok, not mind blowing but something to eat at each meal, good selection at breakfast. If you want an ‘all English’ like at home, go to Benidorm as you won’t get it here. Menu is more European so be prepared to see food you don’t every day in the UK. What all inclusive has amazing food? Not many I’d say. Be assertive and ask for wine if you want it at lunch etc. it’s not a problem. Just don’t be a wallflower. Be nice to they staff and they will see you ok. There is often a queue to get into the restaurant if you leave it till late to go in. Rest assured the queue goes down quickly so don’t be put off. My advice is, don’t go looking at the other hotels in the trio to pick fault and asses what’s better. You can visit all and use the facilities if that’s your thing. Me, I’d rather just relax and not get too hung up on the assessment. Enjoy your time with what you have. Despite the reviews there were ample sun beds and the pool at hotel 2 is closed until 10am. Yeah the early morning crew were there at hotel 1 reserving sun beds at 8am which seems to be ok at that hotel…..but every hotel I’ve been to recently it’s the same. Get amongst it or don’t and take your chances. The lifeguard /staff are good at assessing and dealing with people who put towels on beds then head off for the day. Pool at Hotel 2 is small. Nice enough. It gets busy due to size. Bar staff, they are not gonna be your bestie but be polite and you’ll get what you want. Plastic glasses indoors are a bit naff. At night they do serve in glass which is far nicer. The snack bar in hotel 2 had a regular supply of burgers, nuggets, chips which were good, and the AI drinks self service area is good. Rooftop adults only pool in EP2, didn’t go up but looked great from our hotel room. Pool towels, these can be hired but it wasn’t obvious from where or how much. Most people had their own. The ones I saw of the hotels didn’t look the newest. FYI you can get decent public transport into salou and other places. Uber do not operate in this area so you’ll need to use the taxi rank.

In estival park number 1 Hotel security man was wearing a baton which I found intimidating, I saw this twice today. I do not know if hotel 2 which I am staying has this not seen it. Thank goodness I am going home tomorrow. I find these hotel 2 star and not 4 star. Second worst hotel I have ever stayed in . The first hotel was in majorica was 3 star then went down to 2 star plus now.

First of all the hotel lobby and restaurant is nicely decorated.. the rooftop pool is really nice and chilled area but they act like the rooftop isnt part of the hotel, you cannot bring your own stuff there you must pay for everything up here €8 a cocktail and €4-6 non alcoholic, €3 a beer which is the beer downstairs on tap that u can help yourself to anytime but up here its charged in an all inclusive hotel?… Hotel all inclusive is NOT a 4star spanish all inclusive, beer and sangria on tap and draught fizzy pop fair enough but ask for a bottle of water its €1?.. not even bottles of water in the rooms.. Booked a superior suite expecting it to be a suite as its a 4star newly refurbished hotel but nothing suite about it just like a standard hotel room with a little living room onto it nothing superior, the beds for a suite WOW i have never slept in such cheap uncomfortable beds in my life and i have stayed in a lot of hotels, this is not suite standard no chance.. stayed in more comfortable beds in a 2star in other countries.. and as mentioned above not a single bottle of water in the room ever,, simple bottles of water are standard in hotels across the world so you would expect it in a 4star suite but no.. half the food in the buffet is not labelled so dont know what some stuff even is, food was ok but nothing special and definitely not 4star, iv stayed in a h10 4star and now that is a total different experience could not fault it but this place is not on parr with other 4star hotels in the area, 3star yeah. Also stayed at another estival, estival centurian in cambrills and that place was of a much higher standard that here for a 4star also. Overall would not return not what expected.

My friend & I have just returned from an all inclusive week staying at the Almaris hotel. The hotel is recently refurbished & has a fresh modern vibe. The restaurant is air conditioned, with a plentiful amount of very good food. The breakfast pastries are amazing & so many to choose from! Beer, sangria & soft drinks on tap, wine is served by the bottle & reserved for the following day. No English tea & the hot drinks servery. Good sized double room but the beds are quite hard. My friend had room 2184 & it looks out directly on the the rooftop lift shaft!! The view is so bad, this room should never be in public use! That’s my only complaint! Entertainment great, very professional. The adult roof top area is really great, no under 18’s infinity pool & a chilled vibe! Small supplement for drinks but worth it! Lovely spa for all inc guests, but you have to wear a bathing cap! This is the best out of the 3 hotels by a mile! I would definitely return!

So. This was our families second visit to the resort. Last year staying in 1 this time in this hotel. We had a great holiday. I can pick holes. Like the bed wasn't comfy for example but in actual fact that's so minor to the memories we made. Check in was fast and our room was ready we arrived before midday so this surprised us. Food was varied enough. We never went hungry. Drink selection is great. Cool beds to hire for €15 a day must be my favourite touch. So good with a toddler. I must say first hotel I've stayed in here I never had an issue getting a sunbed. I think a holiday is what you make it. All staff we spoke to were friendly and efficient. Oh actually I would say the entertainment in this hotel is lacking. You will need to go to the other hotels.
