Days Inn by Wyndham Salisbury

Very very disappointed with this property. Even though it is low cast I recommend spending more and staying elsewhere. Poor overall property condition, poor cleanliness, roaches seen in the room. Phone and TV remote not working. There isn't even signage identifying the office.

My experience truly echoes that of other recent reviews. I frequent budget inns and appreciate that the night staff seemed sympathetic, but this was easily the worst motel experience of my life. Imagine the desk agent saying you have 30 minutes to decide that you don't like the room and check out with a full refund! I'd booked through Priceline and felt I could handle a summer roach or two but returned immediately asking I could switch rooms. At that hour it either wasn't possible or allowed and likely wouldn't have made a difference. I must have killed or scooped up the bodies of one to two dozen roaches and flies over two nights. It can't help that the AC units are mounted at pavement level for what doesn't crawl under the doors There were also musty odors that seemed to waft in from another unit. I met other guests were equally shocked, some leaving after midnight to sleep elsewhere. One said she couldn't believe Wyndham put their name on this place, and I'd agree.

This is the WORST place ever. We pull up and the place looks nothing like it does on the website. Run down. We get a room and it is back in the corner of the place where the outside lights don’t work. Sketchy right there. The room they gave us was a smoking room and it was disgusting to say the least. We ask for another room. We walk to the other room and we get inside and immediately a HUGE roach is crawling across the floor. We set our things down and head to the beach for a couple hours. We get back and come in and roaches everywhere. They were coming out of the ac unit. I sat on a chair and something BIT my back. My husband checks on the ground and there is a HUGE spider. By this time it is 12 am. I am upset I go to the office and the guy told me he had no other rooms. If there are that many roaches in one room they are going to be in every room. I booked through a 3rd party so they cancelled the reservation but at 12:30 am I had to find another hotel. I was not going to have my family stay in that terrible place. And before we left we were getting our things together my husband found bedbugs. I read reviews and thought people were over exaggerating but definitely NOT. I am still traumatized from that’s situation. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

The beds are comfortable and there were no signs of bed bugs. The bathroom was very dirty. The paint was heavily peeling. The room remained hot in spite of having the a/c turned down. It smelled heavily of smoke and the blankets had multiple burns in them. Check in and check out was easy and the front desk staff was kind. The out door lights were out (every other one). We didn’t feel safe.

I should have known when the check-in clerk told me that I had 30 minutes to decide whether I wanted to stay at the hotel! It was one of the worst rooms I've ever experienced in my life. First, the bright lights outside made it feel like I was in a jail. They shone through the curtains and made it hard to sleep. The A/C was very noisy and kept turning on and off, waking me each time. The sink and tub had no stoppers, so bath was impossible. Room was filthy - we found a roach in the morning. We paid in advance for three nights, and left after one miserable night.

I’ve been this place for 5 mins I would be surprised if something bad happens to me . It gives a creepy vibe and the door lock look broken. I’ve moved all the furniture in front of the door so it can’t be opened from the outside. I feel much safer sleeping in my car
