Eww Pool was closed and both beds were wet. We checked in around 6 pm and there is no reason to have damp beds.

Not maintained and smells like urine. My son and I were supposed to stay here for one night. We chose this hotel as it had a decent looking pool with a slide that we could pass the time with. When we arrived to check in, the front door had a sign saying that the pool was out of service for maintenance. There was no mention of this on any website for this hotel. We decided to stay anyway as it was only one night. When we went to use the door from the parking lot closest to our room for ease of access with bags, we were met with another sign saying that the card reader for the door did not work. Again decided to look past it. When we made it to the room, it instantly smelled like urine. My son even made the connection immediately. When standing by the air conditioner, it smelled like someone had urinated in the air conditioner and the smell was being pushed out when the air blew. Not only is that disgusting, but a significant health hazard. I decided to leave at this point. I voiced my complaints to the woman at the front desk and she was kind and apologetic. I asked for a refund for my stay due to the conditions and she told me that she would pass that request to her manager and that her manager would call me. After several days, still no refund or call back from the manager. There are several other hotels in the Salina, KS area and I would highly encourage anyone to stay at any of the other hotels.

facility was advertised as having a pool and a waterslide online. This was the sole reason for us booking this hotel. As soon as we walked into the property there was a sign on the door that said that the pool was closed for renovation/maintenance. I requested to cancel our reservation and was given a cancellation number and told that I would have my reservation refunded. However, this did not happen and I was charged for a hotel that I did not even stay at. Tried to get this rectified with *******, who could not even get the property to refund. poor customer service and was essentially lied to by the front desk staff shame on you best western.

Very surprised at poor conditions outside and in lobby area. Best Western Plus has always had a very good reputation. I will not be staying at Best Western Plus any more. I declined to stay there and was refused even a partial refund. Good luck in future, I know you can correct these problems.

BEWARE!! This property looks better in the pictures. Rooms are outdated. Pet fee is ridiculous compared to other, nicer properties- $40 per pet per day. The website says $40 per day. Workers smoke right outside the front door so you have to walk through a cloud of smoke to get to the parking lot. Front desk person was rude.

Room had a stale smell. Hallway carpet not swept well along the edges. Hide a bed very poor sleeping. Pretty pricey for the age and condition of the hotel.

One night stay This hotel provided us what we needed. It was clean and smelled clean. There wasn’t anything wrong with the room. We did have trouble with the room key and had to have it reprogrammed.

Reception good. Lovely young woman. Room ok. Some scraps of old paper behind night stand … saw when I tried to find an open plug for my phone. No convenient plugs near bed or desk/table… no plug on lamps. Fridge doesn’t seem very cool … no freezer for my cold packs. So definitely not as good as Hampton Inn or Holiday inn express, but the bed is comfortable, the pillows are good. A/C too cold for me when I entered (68*) and room did not get much warmer when I turned it up. Glad I have my hoodie and long sleeve pj’s.

The staff were really nice and our room was clean. My kids were bummed bc the slide was out of order due to paint chipping. The slide was the whole reason we booked this room. The pool was open and does have weird hours 10:30a to 10pm. My kids would have loved to swim in the morning but it isnt possible bc checkout is 11a. Just so you know if youre booking for the slide in the pool we stayed 6/24/25 to 6/25/25. Id call and check with the property.
