Overpriced tourist lodge ,and need of maintenance. Mattresses are a disaster. Power was off most of the time although generator on site.The toilets in the room we stayed in had no seat, the shower was scary . The pool is a nice touch that almost makes up for the fact that the beach access is garbage here. Better you go to sunbird Livingstonia .The surroundings at the lodge were beautiful, but again all the furniture was falling apart and just looked very tired. We will be staying somewhere else the next time we go to Senga Bay.

The place is serene and always a good getaway surrounded by water, monkeys and cozy chalets fit for different family sizes. Beach is excellent for meditation at sunrise or at sunset if you prefer. Staff are friendly and ready to help 😺 The breakfast was however cold and there was no variety compared to the other visits.

The lake is very full at the moment so there is no beach and the area next to the lake is dirty, but that is not their fault. Better to check lake levels before booking this place else you will have no beach. Nice location next to the lake, set a bit above the lake. Lovely, well-kept gardens. Chalets are comfortable if you don't mind climbing down steep stairs to the upstairs room. Very nice bar and the view from the bar at sunset is is wonderful. Breakfast was very good. There were no internet on the first day, following morning only intermittent internet at reception. The cellphone signal is also very bad.

The best place to take off the stress of busy life. And also kids love this place. It's secluded and I love the monkeys and the wild feeling it brings The chalets are affordable and good for a medium sized family

Had a great time at Safari Beach Lodge! Food was amazing & staff really friendly & helpful. Is a stunning place to stay, really enjoyed the scenery & swimming pool. Accommodation was clean & tidy. Enjoyed having the moneys visiting our balcony!

Part of a group of 9. Enjoyed our two night stay, very relaxing and staff all very friendly and helpful. Two minor problems with one chalet resolved quickly and efficiently when mentioned to management.

Not cheap to be Malawi, and far away of a luxurious lodge. Room with an uncomfortable bed, bad light, poor food, dirty swimming pool... Just a nice view and monkeys in the area. The price should be less keeping in mind that we are in this country and with this level of service and comfort.

Stayed three nights for a wedding. Chose to stay in one of the old rooms due to expecting to need air-conditioning albeit during rainy season. Unfortunately power grid was offline first day and solar power unable to cope with load and there is no generator back-up. Hot water not hot and sometimes faded into nothingness. Room itself bit basic and would benefit from renovation. After viewing other guests chalets which were newer, lighter and with a pleasant breeze with a view I would opt for that in preference. Food was fine but nothing special. Platform bar was closed during stay and Wi-fi did not work due to "network problems". Private beach and location was good.
