Very well located hotel just outside train station and not in the ZTL. Kind and helpful staff.

At approximately 2200 (10 PM), an unknown male gained entry to our hotel room. My fiancé and I were in bed when we heard someone unlocking the door. He got the door unlocked and opened, and paused for a moment. My fiancé said “Hello?” which was met with two quick “Sorry”’s from the entrant before he left and re-locked the door. Because of the layout of the room, the door is not visible from the beds, therefore we didn’t see the man’s face. We suspect he also successfully entered the closest room to us, down the hall towards the steps on the same side. We heard that door being unlocked and opened, then a couple minutes later closed and re-locked. He then directly walked to our room and unlocked/opened it. We gave no permission to enter, nor did he give notice that he was coming to open the room. The doors in the rooms only had a turnkey lock, no deadbolt or any additional securing methods. The doors did not have peepholes. While we did not see the man’s face, it is worth noting that there was a man working the front desk that evening, and he likely had access to a universal key. The fact that the same individual opened two different doors lends credence to this, but I cannot say for certain because we didn’t see his face.

DISGRACEFUL HOTEL!!! YOU CANNOT SLEEP HERE BECAUSE THE ROOMS ARE SOOO NOISY …NOISY BECAUSE THE STAFF HAVE SHOUTING CONTEST IN THE HALLWAYS ALL HOURS OF DAY AND NIGHT. ROOMS SMELL AND LOOK DIRTY, COVERED UP WITH CHEAP CLEANING PRODUCTS. HOTEL DOES NOT HAVE PARKING OR OFFER ANY ASSISTANCE WITH PARKING. GARAGE NEARBY COSTS e25 BUT CLOSES AT 10AM ON WEEKENDS. STAY ANYWHERE BUT THIS DUMP!!!

Travelling from Sicilia to Milan by train we needed an overnight stop as it all couldn’t be done in one day (unless using a sleeper train!🚆). Salerno seemed to be a good midway point so after a bit of research this hotel 🏨 was booked. On arrival at Salerno Station 🚉, we took the elevator down and literally stepped out the station into the hotel lobby, it’s that close. We had a friendly chap on reception who checked us in and assisted us with our luggage to our room. We were allocated Room 203! This was a spacious clean room with a modern en-suite bathroom perfect for our stay. Considering you are right next to a station, you really didn’t hear a lot apart from a few sirens and horns and rumbles when trains 🚆 were passing. 8 hours of decent sleep 💤 was had.. how can you fault that? Breakfast was a simple affair but there were fresh Cornetto in different flavours which were delicious 😋. It’s a ‘buffet’ so it’s help yourself and the little lady on reception in the morning was doing a grand job keeping everything topped up and tables cleared. Overall an excellent stay! If you are travelling by train, this is an ideal place to stay. The hotel is located well within reach of the main town and the coast is a few steps away. Plenty box ticking with this hotel.. 🏨

Upon arrival, reception informed us that Booking had cancelled our reservation. They had no free rooms, they told us that it was the weekend and that it was difficult to find one in Salerno. I asked them to call a couple of hotels by phone but they didn't pay attention, they told me that there was one opposite and another nearby and nothing else. The first time in Salerno, the car was badly parked, there was no space, the suitcases were at reception. I don't know, I think they could have done more for us. I wouldn't go back even with a confirmed reservation.

The reception TV at full blast, the telephone rings and the extremely loud conversations between the employees kept me from sleeping. The rooms on the ground floor (and mine right next to the reception) are absolutely to be avoided or better abolished given the inconveniences they cause. The breakfast is very poor.

Mi trovavo a Salerno per un impegno ed ho deciso all'ultimo di pernottare li invece che tornare in giornata. Ho prenotato la stanza direttamente con l'hotel e mi hanno fatto un prezzo migliore rispetto ai siti di prenotazione. Molto gentili fin dall'inizio anche nella disponibilità ad anticiparmi la colazione. Hotel nuovo, stanze moderne e pulite con anche il frigorifero. La colazione, soprattutto dolce, era ottima con torte fatte in casa, sfogliatelle ecc. Personale molto attento al cliente. Esperienza ottima, inoltre è attaccato alla stazione, cosa molto comoda se si deve prendere il treno, ma anche al centro ed al lungomare
