We stayed in this place for one night during our honeymoon in Italy. The location is nice even though a bit hard to find, it’s hidden behind the big gate. Alexis was very helpful with the luggage and welcomed us with the introduction, in the room there was a book with suggestions for dining places and sightseeing. We loved the style , it looks quite impressive with the high ceilings and big windows, feels like you’re staying in the museum. The breakfast was nice for B&B, too. The music playing gives you special vibes. That was really a unique experience! The only disadvantage for us was the noise from the street, it was super loud until 3 a.m., couldn’t fall asleep for a while. We also suggest to provide two types of pillows for the guests, ours were very hard to sleep on. Apart from that, everything was good. 👍🏽

If you like walking on the cobblestone road with your heavy luggage for a while and then going upstairs with your luggage, if you like old and dim B&Bs, if you like the hot water in your shower to turn cold after a while, then this hotel is for you.

Absolutely amazing place with everything you need! The rooms were so unique and decorated with interesting decorations from old times! The beds were the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in and the location is amazing! The bathroom was big and really nice. The staff were absolutely amazing and kind who helped us carry our suitcases up the stairs and told us everything we needed to know about the room. Overall a great visit and stay with a nice breakfast and kind staff!!

We stayed at this aparthotel from August 1 -8, 2025. The property and its location are unbeatable. Let me say this again - unbeatable! The property is gorgeous and full of history. It was the former summer-residence of Marquis Nicola Santangelo di Napoli, Minister of the Interior of the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies (1785 – 1851). The ceiling and wall frescos, the decor, rooms sizes, bed & pillows, delicious grappa and, importantly, host’s (Angelo) hospitality and responsiveness would make your vacation special. Angelo is a super-star! If you ask (and you should), he will recommend to you all the right places to visit and to dine in (eg Salerno has many Michelin- guide restaurants that are well-priced). In short, we had a very relaxing holiday in Salerno and stay at Case Santangelo Suites significantly enhanced it. We will return :0)

This is a wonderful experience in that you stay in rooms hundreds of years old with 20+ foot ceilings and gorgeous decor. Alexis was fantastic in ensuring we got in ok and were oriented with great Recs for meals and sites. The room has wonderful WiFi and AC. Breakfast was a smorgasbord of many selections and endless espressos and teas. We will return.
