Tadlo Lodge sent me an email apologizing for not being able to offer me the room I reserved because they were closing the hotel for renovation. Next step to do for an honest enterprise is to give my money back. They didn't an accused me that I haven't tell them that I was cancelling my reservation!!!! How can I cancelled a booking that have been already done!!! Then they reproached me that the prepared a room for me for nothing!!! How can they prepared one when the hôtel is closed for maintenance??? I have been robbed ! Don't go there.

One night as a couple, arriving around 7:00 p.m. - at night. The environment of this hotel surrounded by nature is very pleasant, on the banks of the river. For everything else, forget it. The facilities are almost abandoned. The access to our room in a bungalow about a hundred meters from the main building, without light, was smashed, broken steps. Many of the equipment in the room were broken or did not work (front door lock, toilet, trickle of water in the shower, WiFi and random TV...) Menu card for dinner reduced to the minimum and yet the 2 First Laotian dishes requested were canceled by the kitchen a few minutes after ordering (not available). And without anyone who could express themselves in English it quickly became difficult. Fairly high prices for this type of establishment Breakfast served at the table (no buffet), limited choice and poor quality. We got up early enough to see the elephant toilet. We finally saw a poor animal that seemed starving. The walks that we then took around the hotel, towards the waterfalls, made us discover an almost abandoned region; many closed, abandoned hotels. Surroundings full of rubbish, ... Obviously Covid has broken the tourist environment.

Wir waren eine Nacht in der Lodge. Die Zimmer sind groß und ausreichend. Die Betten waren bequem und gut. Die Sanitäranlagen in Ordnung. Abendessen und Frühstück waren lecker. Das Personal ist freundlich und hilfsbereit. Allerdings haben wir die Elefanten vergebens gesucht, die gibt es nicht mehr. Der Wasserfall ist schön und lädt zu einem Bad ein. Unser Tipp: Spazieren gehen und Augen aufhalten, man kann viel schönes beobachten z.B. wie die Einheimischen Wäsche im Fluss waschen und vieles mehr. Schade dass die tolle Hängebrücke defekt ist.

Lieu à éviter , pas de dialogue possible avec le gestionnaire . Dommage de faire autant de route plus de 2 h de nuit , notre avion retardé pour ne rien avoir de charmant !!!! en cherchant il y à d'autres hébergement dans le secteur .Choisir un autre établissement .
