They must improve the internet. I did not have accommodation during the days. And cleaning bathroom curtains improve. The perfect location.

Good location, just a few minutes from the main attractions of Salamanca. Supermarkets a few steps away. The only inconvenience was when checking in, as there is no one to welcome you and if you don't have internet access, you simply cannot do it. They could send the guidelines the day before and it would make the process much easier. Other than that, the staff is very helpful.

Disastrous experience. Never in my life have I found a hostel so dirty and disgusting. Everything was bad, the toilet hadn't been cleaned for years, the sheets were dirty and the room smelled of stale tobacco and dirt. It is preferable to sleep on the street on a bench before staying there.

After booking 2 rooms through Booking, one of the room reservations was canceled 1 day before arrival. The hostal's rules state that they will only refund the money for this reservation if the cancellation is made 2 days in advance... so far so good. The guests who were going to stay in the room that held the reservation arrived.... and surprise, they said that they had no record of the reservation, neither through the respective code issued by Booking, nor through the name of the person who made the reservation. The respective guests even tried to call the indicated telephone number several times (check in is done online)... but they did not receive support. They said that without reservation and without online data, nothing would be done. The guests even tried to send the data online but were unsuccessful due to difficulty accessing the internet. They were unable to stay at the hostal and had to look for alternative accommodation at the last minute, because the Hostal simply hung up the phone on the guests. A complaint was made to Booking, which immediately sought clarification from the hostal... and the response was. .. there is no problem, the rooms were occupied by hosoedes (how can this be said, if a room was canceled and the guests who were supposed to stay in the other room had to find another accommodation?). The next day, the guests called the hostal, asking for explanations for such a false statement, and received the answer that the hostal did not assume any responsibility for not having occupied the rooms as they had not checked in correctly. In other words, first they didn't have any reservations, then they already had reservations but they didn't take responsibility for disregarding the guests' despair. They just finished off by saying that they would still charge the value of the rooms regardless of whether they were used or not. They washed their hands and unplugged the phone again. Congratulations, rich example of Spanish hospitality.
