Beach Resort Salalah

I booked the Junior Suite and absolutely loved the room! The hotel is located right on Dahariz Beach and being able to watch the sunrises and sunsets on the Arabian Gulf on a quiet beach amplifies the enjoyment of the hotel (watching the full moon rise over the Arabian Gulf, feeling safe while walking the beach at night and being able to watch the sun rise and moon set is evocatively beautiful and forever has etched Salalah in my travel memories). The section of Salalah the hotel is located in is relatively quiet (the locals tend to come out after the heat of the day has abated and are wonderfully polite) The staff of Dolphin restaurant is so kind and the prices for food (which can be pricey in hotels) is beyond reasonable and delicious. The hotel staff with their legendary Omani hospitality makes Beach Resort Salalah a hotel with heart and a paradise on earth!

If you are looking for a good breakfast and paying higher than compared to other hotels around then don't chose this one. Break fast has no variations and no options. Less quantity as well and not happy to serve you more.and good variety. We booked for that but were disappointed.Food manager absolutely not flexible . No Indian TV channels, not even 1. So no TV to be realistic if you are interested for Indian channels. 1 TV not working out of the 2. Hotel Location is good, swimming pool, snooker, tennis , table tennis available. Timely room service. Nearby Lulu and Carrefour.Rooms are spacious. No microwave in rooms.

Muscat International Hotel Plaza

The hotel is well located, mosque was a 8 minutes walk away from the mosque, market and local attractions are close by as well as many restaurants nearby. In my opinion the hotel needs a refurb but is clean and tidy. The air con was a little noisy. The rooms were huge and had decent bathrooms. Little pricey but OK. When we arrived the staff were brilliant in helping us find our way around and offered great advise on where to go and places of interest. Breakfast was interesting which was mainly catered for the Indian palate. Overall, OK hotel.
Samharam Resort Salalah

During our stay we had the area almost to ourselves, which we really liked. Due to the low occupancy, we were treated individually for breakfast (without a buffet) and our every wish was taken into account. The kitchen manager was open and friendly and we had many interesting conversations with him about the country and its people. The staff is super friendly and helpful (when we were walking to the nearest supermarket, we met the hotel manager, who gave us a lift in his car and brought us back). The rooms are large, air-conditioned, well-equipped and two bottles of water were provided in the room every day, which we particularly appreciated upon our arrival. Here and there the wallpaper is peeling away from the wall and the door frame in the bathroom also made a very special impression - although we found these “defects” rather charming. Plus, the bed was a dream! Great mattress, a double bed throughout and not too soft - we've never slept so well anywhere! Sure, you're a little out of the way, but since we were only there six nights and took three arranged excursions, that wasn't a problem for us. The supermarket can be reached on foot, the Hilton (if you want to drink something alcoholic - our hotel didn't serve alcohol - or need a little something from the shop) via a relaxed walk on the beach. However, there is also a bus stop directly at the hotel or you can quickly order a cheap taxi using the otaxi app. The proximity to the water was our highlight, getting up in the morning, walking a hundred meters through the sand and straight into the Pacific, which was a perfect temperature for swimming - a dream! The complex is large and nicely designed, my husband also had a lot of fun with the pool, we could see the sea from the room... we would probably choose the Samharam again.

First of all, give affirmation, the service is very good, the room is quite large and the facilities are complete. The only downside is that there are no people in the city, so it looks rather bleak and there is a big supermarket nearby. It’s a good choice to find a quiet place.
