I drove here with friends and the welcome was none existent. Service was not as I would expect and the food was average. They couldn't really get a carpaccio of beef wrong, but the best part was the frites. I chose profiteroles for dessert and it was ok. I was not inspired to return.

Stayed here as two couples for four nights. I am surprised by some of the ealier reviews which are clearly out of date and do not represent our experience. This small hotel has a calm rural setting. The old house has been beautifully and stylishly developed. Rooms are well equipped with fridge, kettle, coffee makers etc. And in particular with comfortable beds and very effective air conditioning. As our stay was for Golden Wedding celebrations with friends who live nearby, we only ate in the restaurant one night. Our meal was well cooked and presented and included a range of fresh local ingredients. Breakfast each morning was a real treat and elegantly delivered to our table on a tray. Overall, fantastic value and I have no hesitation in giving le Melchior the highest recommendation.

Nice quiet place, the restaurant has a nice terrace, the welcome is warm, we went there one evening, there are 2 menus one at 25€ and another at 37€, we were surprised by the one at 25€ very good value for money, beautiful presentation of the dishes, the quantity is sufficient for one evening, whether it is the starter, the main course and the dessert we were not disappointed, the next time we will stay the menu at 37€ , for the service it goes fast enough no long wait between dishes, the staff has a smile and is friendly. remember to book

Superbe restaurant en sortie de village, à une dizaine km de l'agitation de St Emilion. très bon accueil même sans réservation, serveurs souriants et agréables. On recommande le risotto crémeux et le thon grillé à la mangue, ainsi que les profiteroles. À recommander sans hésiter dans le coin. Très bon rapport qualité-prix, tout est fait maison, c'est super bon. Merci pour votre accueil.

Nous avons passé 2 nuits, celles de dimanche et de lundi (le restaurant était fermé midi et soir ces jours-là). Environnement très calme, l'hôtel est au milieu des champs. La piscine était malheureusement couverte malgré la chaleur extérieure...L'eau était à 31°, trop chaud pour nous. La chambre était spacieuse et propre, très bonne literie et petit réfrigérateur bien pratique. Le petit déjeuner nous laisse vraiment un très bon souvenir, rapport qualité/prix imbattable. La présence très discrète mais efficace du gérant est appréciable.
