Hôtel la Nartelle

This hotel actually exceeded our expectations. The superior double room with balcony and sea view was extremely well appointed. The bed was comfortable with nice bed linen. The bathroom with overhead shower was modern. The room was cleaned each day to a high standard. The staff were friendly and helpful. The reception is not manned all the time and although this is understandable, this can be an inconvenience if you wish to ask a question or need to speak to someone. We think this hotel is value for money on the French Riviera, however it should provide the services that it says is included: The WIFI in room 15 was very weak and intermittent. To obtain any type of signal, I had to stand on the balcony. As we had some rainy weather, this proved to be very frustrating and an inconvenience. The hotel website clearly states that the swimming pool is heated. This is not true! The pool was extremely cold even in September and as a consequence we could not use it. We had expected it to be heated and were not the only guests who were disappointed by this. Both these issues were mentioned to staff. If it was not for these issues we would have rated this hotel excellent.

This hotel is perfectly positioned opposite the beautiful beach in the south of France with a few private beach bars and restaurants opposite. Good value for money in a basic room but the bathroom was lovely. Lucky enough to get a balcony and sea view. Has a pool too. The hotel was quiet and had parking too. Really was so very pleased with this find. not forgetting the great staff too. Will defo be back!

I stayed at this little hotel in early August. I loved it. It is clean. It has attentive and hardworking staff. Anouk is great. She was so helpful towards me. The rooms are air conditioned. They offer free wifi. The location is great. Beautiful views all around. I had a room with sea view. There is a beach just across the road from the hotel. The hotel was quite busy with guests but everyone was very civilised. I will definitely go back again. It's also very close to St Maxime centre itself. Great shops and restaurants too. It's a great walk to St Maxime or you can cycle if you enjoy that or you have choice of buses or coach. Taxis are also available. The locals I found to be very helpful. Not far from Saint Tropez, steps to the beach and a heated pool. The parking might not be enough when the hotel is fully booked. Better use your room towel for pool, as they charge you 5 Euro per towel and they even do not tell you when they offer it.

Family run hotel with great staff. Also it is very family friendly. We were given a crib for the 1 year old kind and a high chair which helped us a lot. The room was also big enough and cleaned everyday.

We had a great time there. The hosts were very helpful and scrupulous. Our flight was delayed so we arrived after reception hours and they stayed up for us which we’re very grateful for. I highly recommend for anyone who wants to relax by the seaside.
