Fabulous place. Good location for seeing the area and for Cherbourg ferry port. Large spacious room. Was given a large pot of homemade pate to take home. Restaurant fantastic. Had a delicious evening meal here. Lovely upstairs bar with log burner which was lit for us. Lovely, welcoming staff. Breakfast was great too. Cannot fault this place except to say that the shower was a little tired. Will definitely return if we can.

The brunch on Sunday was the best ever. At first we thought the €36 per person seemed a lot but it was well worth it for the choice and quality of food. You help yourself to the choice of savoury dishes including meat, fish and vegetarian and you can go back as many times as you want. The desserts were delicious with 10 to choose from. There was endless coffee or tea and, of course, bread and croissants. A lot of the French had an alcoholic aperitif with brunch which was extra but the coffee and tea was enough for us. We would highly recommend it.

What a great place to spend our 25th anniversary. The staff was great, the owner was great, and the grounds were great. We were impressed the moment we arrived. Loved the Calvados! Utah beach was very close to this location. It was very quiet with a beautiful scene everywhere you looked.

We just love this hotel. I stayed there last year on my way home from the rugby world cup and liked it so much I came back with my wife this year. It is really handy for all the DDay stuff including the Band of Brothers sites close by. The area is hugely calm and relaxing. After breakfast each day we sat in the courtyard with a coffee, relaxing in the Normandy sunshine. One evening after dinner I tried a 12 year old Calvados from a huge glass bottle and liked it so much I visited the distillery the next day.

Had a one night stay here with a group of 12 cyclists touring Normandy. We had a fantastic stay. The hotel is a little off the beaten track, but well worth the effort in seeking it out, the surroundings are stunning. We shared cottages that were well equipped and comfortable. The food was off the scale! Without doubt a perfect stay.

The service and quality were above and beyond. This is a very special place, so close to the beach but not to far also. We had just one night here, but I will return to enjoy it more fully. The quality of the rooms and bathrooms was delightful, as were the surrounds and setting.

WONDERFUL!!!! Truly a gem of a place! Family run for generations. Extremely well kept and clean. Our room was absolutely lovely! Perfectly decorated in French country fashion. Such a peaceful and quality stay. We hope to visit again!!! The owner was so nice and personable. Thank you!!

Have stayed here 2 times now while touring the sites of Normandy and will stay here again when we come back. Such an unexpected delight off the beaten path with charm and great food. Every single thing we ate and drank was delicious during and the majority of it is from their farm or locally sourced! If you plan on touring Normandy this is your place to stay!

Great location to visit the D-day beaches, Saint Mere Elise. The hotel had a very personable owner Nicolas, and a not so friendly front desk person Hilda. The hotel had clean, nice size rooms and bathrooms with a great restaurant for dinner (make reservations), bikes that they say are included but you pay for them (and they are not in great condition… we had a flat tire that we needed to return to the hotel). You can hear birds and horses from the room which was a nice touch. We had a room in the stable that had been modernized, I think it was 17th century. I would definitely recommend.
