My family had a wonderful long winter get-away weekend at the Auberge du Vieux Moulin this week. Kevin and his team do a wonderful job providing a warm and cozy family atmosphere for their guests. The food was outstanding and we got to play in the snow - snow shoeing, hiking, cross country skiing and even snow mobiling - while enjoying the comfort of a personal fireplace in our room and a spa whenever we got back to the lodge. We are city slickers from south of the border and they made us feel at home.

We had a wonderful stay with innkeeper Kevin and his wonderful team. They went above and beyond for a great French Canadian winter holiday. The grounds at the auberge are beautiful, and there are so many winter activities to take part in. We were able to try cross country skiing, skating on a frozen lake, hiking, snow shoeing, ice fishing, and even snow mobiling. Being from a much milder winter home, we loved it all! Some of us also enjoyed the outdoor hot tubs. We did the breakfast and dinner plan, since we didn’t want to cook or to be driving around the area in the snow. The multi-course dinners were amazing! Our room was comfortable and clean and we loved having a wood fire each afternoon and evening in the fireplace. It was a perfect winter holiday for us as a family, and we hope we’ll come back again one day.

The place is amazing, they have a restaurant where the food is very good, its very clean and you have access to kayaks, mountain bikes, etc free of charge, just that the owner, Mme Silvie is the most obnoxious person I have ever met. Not sure if she is a hard core xenophobe, her attitude much more pleasant with the french speaking clientele. With us and some other anglo families, she was so passive aggressive I could not stand it. Just as an ex, my kids were playing with a paddle boat that was missing a cap so water went inside, when my husband tried to pull it out of the water, he made a comment asking her if its normal for water to go inside (he did not see the missing cap and her reply was "its because of the way your kids played with it". Whatever my kids were doing they were like: dont put the plastic ball in the water (it was from the stuff they were allowing us free access to) or when my 9 year old took a fishing rod and he was fishing at the far end of the ponton, no one else on the beach, she went to tell him he needs to take a fishing boat and go far on the lake to fish, not on the ponton and on and on.

It is a wonderful relaxing place owned and managed by a wonderful attentive family and employees. They have a small lake with no motor boats. They offer kayaks, pedal boats, SUPs. There is a sandy beach, a slide and a trampoline on the water and another one on the beach. Good for families. There is another area reserved fir adults that is quiet and by the river. There are spas. You can feed animals and go walking. There is an indoor pool. A pool table and other games. It is peaceful. The food is great with local ingredients, the menu changes and the staff is very accommodating.

Very pricey and over rated. The food was was from a gastronomic feast. Steamed rice and boiled veggies with tasteless entrees. Would not recommend. Look for something else. Tourist trap. Checked out earlier, not satisfied

The old mill inn is the most beautiful inn I have ever seen! Our stay was just incredible. We relaxed so well. The staff was just amazing and so kind. The site is magnificent with everything included (kayak, pedal boat, paddle board and more) the spas are perfect for absolute relaxation. Thank you again to everyone for this wonderful, memorable stay. It was my boyfriend's party, and we couldn't have dreamed of a better romantic weekend

Vous cherchez un endroit pour vous régaler les papilles, pour vous ressourcer, pour vous éclater en motoneige, en raquettes, à ski de fond en hiver mais aussi à pied ou bien en kayak l'été? ne cherchez plus. Cela fait 10 ans que nous revenons hiver comme été, en chambre, en chalet et en cool box et l'auberge nous offre à chaque séjour une expérience magnifique, tant par le lieu que par l'accueil (le personnel en cuisine, em salle, en chambre et dans l'accompagnement des activités est juste parfait!)!

Nous rentrons d’une semaine multi activités dans cette Auberge familiale où tout était parfait ! Kévin et son équipe sont aux petits soins, avec toujours un petit mot gentil et le sourire ! Tout est fait pour que l’on n’ai rien d’autre à faire que profiter de nos vacances en toute simplicité. Chambres confortables, bons petits plats, sorties moto neige sur mesure (merci Francis!) et autres activités très sympa …. Nous avons vraiment adoré ces vacances ! Mille mercis à tous !
