The resort is beautiful - the setting, the high spots near the pool, the cove they have created and protect...the service at "La Plage" restaurant is great as is the food. The food and service at the Grande Bleu is average. And, the menu is pretty limited throughout the resort. Especially, if you're hungry between meal times. Breakfast should be a bit grander with more fruit and healthy options AND coffee and tea service with sweet "Good Mornings!" It felt as if it is designed for minimal staff interactions. Too bad for us as we love connecting with our hosts. The front desk staff is great! The coordination of activities is great. Our room was frustratingly small - but the worst was they did NOT honor the "Do Not Disturb" requests. Even when our tag was on our unit door! Lastly, the Fitness Center is in sharp contrast to everything else about this gorgeous place. With just a few improvements, they could really have a gem!! Three pieces of equipment are unsecured to the floor, which makes them wobble dangerously. The AC fan whines painfully all the time. The set-up is awkward and there are no light dumbbells or other small tools that could really round out the movement options. It's a shame, really. Because a great workout spot is key to a restorative vacation...and then you can indulge in the Spa! (Which we heard was nice...)
