A pleasant hotel in a pretty area of the Ardennes, near the attractive village of St Vith. Room was faultless; modern, clean, warm, decently equipped with a kettle and coffee-maker (plus coffee). Really first-rate breakfast included. We were just overnighting, but it would repay a longer stay if country hikes are your thing. A free pamphlet available gives a good selection locally, of between 5 -20 km. (Note that this is a German speaking part of Belgium). But on my experience. avoid the hotel restaurant for an evening meal. The prices are far too high. Moreover, the steak I ordered proved such poor quality and so tough I could barely cut it, quite impossible to chew. 32€ wasted, without an apology or offer of any recompence. Try one of restaurants in St Vith instead.

A very modern hotel situated on a quiet road south of the town of St Vith. We were contacted a few days in advance of our stay to say that the hotel was always closed on a Tuesday but that they would facilitate us anyway. We arranged an arrival time and were greeted by a friendly girl who checked us in and gave us an access card for the outside door. The room was small but comfortable but with the bar and restaurant being closed there as no atmosphere to be enjoyed. That night we were the only people in the building! The only thing missing was the little girl on the tricycle in the hallway from the film "The Shining". The next morning a different member of staff served us breakfast in the restaurant at a lonely table. I had asked for a safe parking place for my sports car and they had confirmed they had one. However, all they suggested was parking behind the hotel on a lonely country road. A disappointing experience overall.

Wir haben schon mehrfach das Restaurant besucht. Das Carpaccio sowie der Fasan als Hauptgang waren vorzüglich. Die Bedienung Virginie sowie Sandra sind sehr, sehr freundlich und ihre diskrete, professionelle Art schätzen wir sehr. Hier fühlt man sich wohl und man kann in gemütlichem Ambiente einen schönen Abend verbringen. Hier stimmen Preis Leistung. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Emma und Erni

Radtour zu Ostern auf dem Vennbahn Radweg, Höhe St. Vieth/B bin ich vom Radweg abgefahren und nach wenigen Metern befand sich der Gasthof bzw. das Hotel Wisonbrona, wo ich ein Einzelzimmer gebucht hatte. Im unteren Bereich befanden sich stilvoll eingerichtete Gasträume (mit Kamin) und ein Außenbereich. Dort im Restaurant hatte ich gepflegt zu Abend gegessen, sehr schön angerichtet und sehr schmackhaft zubereitet! Ich übernachtete danach in einem EZ, das sehr geräumig, modern eigerichtet und mit einer sanitären stylischen Zeile (breites eckiges Porzellanbecken, breite Duschkabine mit mehreren Duschköpfen...) eingerichtet war. Alles sehr sauber! Durchaus ein Hotel der gehobenen Klasse bzw. mit seinem geschmackvoll Ambiente sehr ansprechend. Das Frühstück stand morgens als Buffet bereit, nach Wunsch, wurden Eierspeisen (Rührei, Omelett) frisch zubereitet. Mein Fahrrad konnte ich sicher in einer Garage abstellen, das Tor, die Türen konnte man im Haus durch eine ausgehändigte E-Schlüsselkarte öffnen. Insgesamt hatte ich sehr gut gespeist und genächtigt! Ich möchte jedoch anmerken, dass ich den Preis für ein Einzelzimmer und zusätzliche 5€ für das Abstellen des Rades in der Garage, nicht unbedingt öfter bezahlen möchte, dies wäre mir zu kostenintensiv. Da ich die Stadt St. Vieth nicht besonders attraktiv empfand, blieb ich nur für eine Nacht und radelte weiter.
