This is the worst hotel I ever stay, price are outrageous, the food is terrible , the breakfast is not up to standards, everything described on the web site does not exist . This hotel is a catastrophe, I cannot believe this exist. Do not stay there

I stayed at Chateau Saint vidal right after the opening of the hotel, my wife and I had a lovely stay, the staff was very generous and very friendly. we had a lovely time in this typical French castle. we do recommend to stay there for honeymoon thanks for taking care of us

We went there as an alternative to staying in an ibis , the renovation of this chateau was great, although the rooms are hot no air conditioning or fans provided, we asked about dinner and they said yes but the meals were limited and we’re heated by a micro wave , the staff tried hard and we’re pleasant , when we got there the door was locked (after 4.00pm) and took a while to get in touch with them.

Excellent stay. The setting is magnificent, the bedroom and bedding very comfortable, with the bathroom in a dungeon. The staff are friendly and very attentive. We recommend this address.

We spent a very good weekend in this magnificent castle very well renovated. After climbing about sixty steps, we discovered at the top of a tower a magnificent suite, perfectly equipped and with very comfortable bedding. We took advantage of the spa available to us, as well as a massage (remember to book in advance). Nina took very good care of us, she takes great care of her customers. I highly recommend for a romantic weekend!

An unusual experience: sore knees or enemies of stairs refrain! Despite the help of the staff there are a lot of stairs. The rooms that we had the privilege of visiting are luxuriously equipped + the spa (sauna and jacuzzi) in the old stones. However, the basic room is very very dark with only one mini-opening in height. The cooler in our room is noisy and we cannot open the window. For the rest, 5-star equipment and a very generous, diverse and refined breakfast. Don't miss the visit to the castle.

Very big design problem with the renovation of this castle, where our room (apparently not the only one) had absolutely no ventilation, nor window except for a small closed and inaccessible skylight. We sleep very badly there, it is stuffy, a very bad night and a very bad experience. It's a shame, this old fortress had great potential. Beware, access to the rooms is via small medieval stairs - charming, but unsuitable if you don't have good mobility. On the plus side, very friendly service, and a pretty village.

J’ai adoré notre parenthèse dans cette forteresse restauré avec goût et à la taille humaine. Le lieu a un charme fou, le personnel est accueillant et aux petits soins. Nous avons profité d’une belle chambre très spacieuse (le prince de la tour de l’Auvergne) et surtout de l’espace bien-être. La possibilité de profiter d’un massage sur place (a réserver à l’avance) est vraiment extraordinaire. A refaire! Nous reviendrons avec plaisir.
