Nice hotel, great view of the tower however disappointed with the room, especially the bathroom. Big spacious room with good facilities, could do with some coat hooks in the room. Cleanliness was not good and a let down especially considering we paid £140 per night. The room had cobwebs and dead insects and the bathroom was dirty, mould around bath and the shower head was disgusting - deep clean needed. The staff were all friendly and the best part was the breakfast - delicious.

Stayed one night for a wedding at the end of August. The room was lovely, can’t fault how comfortable the mattress was after a night of partying. Breakfast was great also, plenty of hot and cold options, which was just what I needed before a long drive back home. The only downfall of this hotel is the price at £150 for a standard double I thought it quite expensive. I’ve paid this for more luxurious rooms at other hotels but it wasn’t quite too class in my opinion. If you are planning a trip here take advantage of their spa and stay deals, these are much more affordable and you get the added bonus of a treatment.

21 ladies from Glynhir WI visited The restaurant last night. The table and food were booked in advance and was ready for us when we arrived. The food was delicious and the staff very helpful thank you for a very pleasant evening. We all enjoyed.

My wife and I are frequent clients of Towers spa (5 times this year so far) and have always found it to be good however for some time now there appears to be an ongoing issue with availability of facilities. On the last 5 occasions (and actually last year as well) either the steam room or sauna has not been working. On each occasion I have reported this to the spa staff and always receive the same response "... We have called the maintenance man ..." but this has never yet resulted in the facility being repaired. This week I actually reported the problem to not only the spa staff but also, on leaving the hotel, to the main hotel reception where I simply received blank looks, apologies and no real response. Either fix the problem or close it and reduce your prices it is unacceptable to continue to advertise these facilities if you cannot provide them. As much as we enjoy the spa this ongoing failure to maintain the facilities is causing us to consider going somewhere else.

Just back from a five night stay, the place was lovely and clean, our room overlooked the tower, which looked beautiful lit up in the night. Furniture in the room was a little dated, however was very clean and comfy. The staff were all very friendly especially Flynn who came to sort out our TV, what a lovely young lad. Breakfast was included, plenty to choose from, we had a roast on our first night that was so good. If I had one complaint, it would be the steps to get into our part of the hotel, I walk with a stick and found difficult managing them, a ramp would have been very helpful. I would definitely come again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you for a great stay.

I was a bit concerned after reading reviews, prior to arriving, but I shouldn’t have worried. My sister and I had a wonderful stay, we were there for 5 nights. Yes it’s a bit dated in places but the hotel was lovely, the food was great and the staff were very friendly and helpful especially Flynn who served us on our first night, thank you and I loved the pool.We will definitely be going back.

I booked a spa experience for myself and my daughter for her birthday. To be honest, it wasnt my first choice, but the only place available at such short notice. The staff at the spa were very profesional and the pool was lovely. However, the 'relax lounge' turned out to be a confrence room with tub chairs and coffee tables to eat our lunch off. I asked for oat or soy milk to have with my tea (im literally lactose intorelant) and they hey had nothing else to offer me. The lunch was okay but sparse. My massage was supposed to be 45 minutes, as stated in the special offer. The ladies were lovely but collected me and my daughter at least 5 minutes late, the took 10 minutes for a consultation. I undressed and laid on the bed for quite a while before she returned. My massage was lovely. But no head massage (my daughter had one, same package). I was dissapointed when the experience ended with only 20 minutes of actual massage time. 45 minutes paid for! I paid £95 per person for this experience and would NEVER do it again..

The facial we had at the start of the day was okay, even though it was delayed by quite some time and the staff were generally friendly. Thats where the good points end. The robe I was provided with had holes in it and the slippers didn’t fit. We wanted to relax by the pool, but it had limited chairs and they were all taken by towels. We went into the lounge/conservatory next to it, but it was far too hot and you couldn’t open an external door for air as they were locked. The rooms are run down, old, filled with mismatched furniture and just drab. There’s dust, dirt, rust, scrapes, stains, running paint, broken parts, too low down mirrors in room/bathroom and a desk that you can’t sit at, as there’s a few centimetres gap between the top of the chair and the bottom of the desk where you sit. The food was a HUGE let down and I wouldn’t eat it again if it was free. The menu is very limited and does not fit in with the location. I can’t compare it to pub food, as pub food is fresher and tastier. The meals we had were either dripping in grease, over cooked to the point the meat crumbled or not fresh. I had to ask for cutlery after every course, as it wasn’t replenished. The breakfast was also poor and I have no idea what made it a full Welsh breakfast. You had bland bacon, a sausage, egg, potato, beans/tomato and mushrooms. You also had a choice of pastries, but the plates were empty and were not replenished. This place needs to be fully refurbished and managed better, as a lot of other reviews have said. This was not a relaxing stay. I left worse off.

We came here for a meal yesterday evening. Had the beef burger which was the worst i've EVER had. It was way over cooked, dry & crumbly. INEDIBLE. The bacon on it was under cooked , and the bun was chewy. Also my husband's fillet steak was cooked too much for the medium rare he ordered. We had to call a waitress over to get our table cleared before we could order dessert. We have not been here for a few years and WON'T BE RETURNING ANYTIME SOON.
