Un Hotel première classe tres bien, pour le déplacement pour le boulot. Le personnel disponible, la responsable aimable et charmante, toujours a l'ecoute. rien a redire, je le recommande sans hésiter.

Second stay, very nice The hotel on the ground floor is a supermarket where you can buy something and take it back to your room for processing. The rooms include induction cookers, filter coffee pots, pots, frying pans, pots, wipes, rags, extraction hoods, knives, forks and cups. Please bring in addition to towels, bath towels and bath fluids. You don't need someone to actively clean it. There are two huge sorting bins. The bathroom is wet and dry. The hot water is very good.

This hotel is more of a conference centre. The pool is very nice ( indoor ) Nice gardens & quiet but strange characterless building that housed the bedrooms alongside the lovely old traditional buildings . The rooms are not air conditioned only the foyer area. We could not sleep well as the room/ bedding were warm & we didn’t want to open the sliding door due to mosquitoes ( behind is a wooded area) . There are no windows other than this door . It felt quite claustrophobic. More of a one night stay place . Breakfast was good but expensive ( €15 each & no hot food except boiled eggs. Restaurant was probably very nice but didn’t open until 7:30 PM so a bit late for us & didn’t use . It is clean & bed large . Kettle in room & small fridge. Staff were friendly. Unfortunately our 3 night stay was spoilt by a dog barking in the room next door which had been left whilst the owner went out each night. The hotel refunded a breakfast for the inconvenience but we will look for hotels that don’t accommodate dogs in future.

The Novotel Angers Centre Gare Hotel is a clean and contemporary hotel, however we felt it lacked ambience. The hotel is located right next to the Angers Gare, and while it may be convenient for those travelling to the Novotel Angers Centre Gare Hotel by train, the hotel does offer car parking at the Angers Gare car park, which is operated by an independent operator, and the hotel does offer a discounted rate for the car park. The Novotel is within a 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Angers and about a 10 minute walk to Angers Castle, both of which are in two different directions of the hotel. The room we had was spacious, with a double bed, in-room safe, room-control air conditioning, very small wardrobe, fridge and kettle with basic tea and coffee. Sparkling water was the only beverage provided in the room and not plain water for the kettle, nor milk and only paper cups!! The block-out curtains worked well at night, although you could hear the train, however our room overlooked the train station. The bathroom had a bath step-in-shower and the shower pressure for the hot water was poor, and there was limited space on the bathroom vanity to spread out hair appliances etc. The in-room phone didn’t work, so we had to make our way down to reception to ask for an ironing board and iron. Bath robes and slippers weren’t supplied. The buffet breakfast was an additional cost, although it did offer a good selection of hot and cold, savoury and sweet menu, which was nice. If you're looking for a basic, clean and convenient no-frills hotel, then the Novotel Angers Centre Gare Hotel, could be for you!

It’s a good choice to come to this hotel if you have the opportunity in the summer, the privacy is good and the high-speed outer ring is convenient, the hotel room service is humanized and the service is very heartwarming, and the check-out time does not stop urging, which gives us enough patience and trust . The heating is very powerful to make the originally cold winter no longer cold 🥶. The sheets and quilts were clean and dry, and did not bring any unpleasantness to the wet winter. On ne rêve jamais de luxe et d'espace lorsque l'on choisit ce type d'hôtel. Mais il y a quand même un minimum exigible que cet hotel n'atteint pas. L'odeur dans les couloirs (et qui se répand dans les chambre) est difficilement supportable. La literie dans l'une des 2 chambres réservées (226) est indigne de ce nom. Le petit déjeuner est minimaliste. Extérieur totalement négligé. L'absence de climatisation un jour de canicule n'a pas arrangé les choses. Une affiche dans l'hôtel annonce qu'il va être rénové. Il y a du boulot pour atteindre le niveau du F1 de Bourges que l'on recommande (malgré l'absence de climatsation).
