Very quiet location, in the middle of the countryside, but 15 minutes walk from the shuttle departure to Mont San Michel. I didn't take advantage of the breakfast. Possibility to leave your luggage. Comfortable room with large window.

We stayed for one night in order to visit Mont St Michel. It was very close by car to the island and in an idyllic setting. Surrounded by farms. We awoke to a farmer herding his sheep past our window - loved it. Our room was a good size and all good except no tea making facilities in room. There were a few restaurants near Mont St Michel but we had some difficulty as some were booked out. Only the most expensive one was available - saturday night. Had breakfast at the hotel which was adequate. Staff were nice and there was free parking. Would recommend.

Cheap and cheerful, plenty of parking, more like a motel. In an area where almost every property is a gite or a chambre d'hote this is an hotel. The breakfast is good but apart from boiled eggs there is not any cooked, hardly an issue. Perfectly adequate for one night. The surrounding countryside is agricultural. Within a few yards of the Auberge you will enjoy an exceptional view of Mont St. Michel

The position was perfect, just 20/30 minutes away from The Mont Saint-Michel (there are two ways to get there). The location was nice and the rooms were really clean and comfortable. The staff was professional and always available. The hotel offers breakfast also for people who are celiac.

Acknowledging the 2star rating we understood the level of hotel we had booked, but the rooms and facilities available still fell short of expectations. With the hotel being on its own in the location, there is a need for somewhere to buy drinks and some food, otherwise all residents need to travel to Beauvoir. If the restaurant could be reopened even with a more basic offering, this would address the issue. The bedrooms could be improved with the addition of mirrors over the desks/dressing tables. The bedrooms were clean and the buffet breakfast was good.

The location is certainly worth a stop at this hotel, in 2.5 km you arrive with a comfortable walk directly to Mont San Michael (just be careful that when the sun sets there are no lights and a piece of the path is submerged by water). Rooms dated but clean and quite spacious. Private and free parking. The only negative point, given that there is no kettle in the room, when we arrived after a long journey we asked for the possibility of drinking a coffee from the machine and we were told that the machine was only for breakfast and that if we wanted there was a bars 2 km away.. they are not the best in hospitality.

This hotel does not deserve its 2 stars! Receptionist not pleasant and not professional at all! A room where multitudes of mosquitoes lay crushed on the walls and ceilings. The cleaning had not been done for a while. The location of the tiny bathtub for taking the shower is very poorly done, especially if like us you are tall and strong, there is also nothing to hang the shower head on. The pillows have lived well and are very soft. In short, really not great, I absolutely do not recommend!

The structure is not very close to the abbey of Monte Saint Michel but a few meters from the hotel (view blocked by a farmhouse) it can be admired in all its splendor. Convenient parking and simple but functional rooms. Ours had electric shutters! Great location for a walk or a long bike ride. Flaws: - check in after 4.00 pm - they asked for an extra cost for rooms with single beds - a few hours before arriving they warned us that the restaurant was closed and after a day of walking you don't always have the desire to take the 'car to go out to dinner.
