One of the best places we have ever stayed! We spent a wonderful weekend at Le Viscos. Saint Savin was a perfect location for exploring the French Pyrenees, as well an idyllic place to relax, drink a glass of wine on the bistro patio, and enjoy the charm of village life. We had fantastic meals at both Le Viscos and Le Bistrot de l’Abbaye. The food at both was delicious and innovative, and we really appreciated how accommodating the chefs were of our various food allergies and restrictions. It felt like the chefs, their family, and really the whole town was looking after us and invested in our comfort. We wish we could have stayed all week!

We stayed at Le Viscos for two nights to explore the area. It was our first time in the Pyrenees, and the mountains and Le Viscos did not disappoint! The room was spacious, the bed comfortable (though personally I'd prefer a slightly softer mattress). It was cutely decorated, but the prize was really the view. I suspect all rooms have similar views - gorgeous mountains as far as you can see. If by chance there are rooms looking out over the Saint Savin square, that view is just as delightful.

We discovered this jewel in the Pyrenees after seeing a program about the restaurant. We were fortunate to secure reservations at the hotel and restaurant for several nights. The food and service were excellent and far exceeded our expectations. Chef Jean Pierre tailored the menu to our dietary restrictions (pescatarian) and the cuisine was sublime! The location is ideal for exploring the beautiful area and Aurelien guided us to the best spots to visit given our limited time. The hotel is charming and welcoming - just like the family members who own and run it. We will be sure to come back again and highly recommend it to our friends and family.

La famille propriétaire nous a accueille de façon fantastique dans sa confortable maison traditionnelle située dans un ravissant village ( ne pas manquer l église réhabilitée par la Fondation du Patrimoine. Nous avons très bien dîné au Bistrot de l.abbaye, deuxième restaurant de l’établissement, ce qui nous laisse-le regret de ne pas avoir pu dîner au restaurant gastronomique, fermé ce jour le, mais nous reviendrons sûrement !

Chambre correcte mais décevante par rapport aux images du site de l'hôtel, même pour la suite junior. Personnel très aimable. Deux restaurants sont à proximité, à l'hôtel (gastronomique, à recommander) et en face de l'hôtel (plus basique mais moins onéreux).

En déplacement pro avec une nuit dans cette hôtel. Points positifs : Arrivée et réception rapide Parking à côté avec de la place Endroit calme Points négatifs : Pas de lumières principale dans la chambre obligé d'allumer les lumières de chevet pour voir Pas de prises électriques au niveau des tables de nuits Le pommeau de douche est spécial économie d'eau et envoie de l'air en même temps que l'eau. Résultat, il faut mettre l'eau beaucoup plus chaude que d'habitude et donc consommer plus de gaz et ou d'électricité Connexion wifi de l'Hotel très mauvaise et donné mobile (SFR) inexistante Le petit déjeuner : Points positifs : jus d'orange pressés Points négatifs : Horaires du petit déjeuner : 8h à 10h, attention pour les lève tôt ou les rendez-vous pro Pas de buffet à volonté complet (pas de machine à café, viennoiseries au choix, madeleine, jus de fruits au choix) Il faut attendre qu'une serveuse, ne comprenant pas très bien mes instructions, arrive pour que je soit servis Sur la table : un croissant par personne et c'est tout, pas de pain au chocolat. J'ai dû dire au réceptionniste que j'avais encore faim pour qu'on apporte une brioche sucré et un gâteau basque au fruit rouge vraiment bon
