I booked a room advertised as "new generation".
The only thing that was new in this room was the electric heating. Otherwise, it is a room as we have known them for years at Campanile with an old roller shutter with straps, poorly insulated frames both thermally and acoustically
Furthermore, for €14.95, the breakfast is not up to par. 30 minutes before the end of the service: no more baguette, no more pastries. Results 20 minutes after request: a barely cooked baguette that disappeared just as quickly, but good pastries all hot.
You have to scrape the bottom of the jam jars and others to find something to use.

Cheap, basic hotel with no amenities or anyone on reception when you got there. Bed was really hard, a mattress on a solid wooden base. The building is not soundproof in anyway. Very noisy. Breakfast was again basic, good croissants but then you are in France, coffee from a machine pretty horrible.

Arrived after a long drive from south of France for a rest before morning ferry back home. On arrival you can see how unloved this place is. Shabby and dilapidated and upon entering our room the shabbily kept pace continued. Broken toilet seat, grey looking duvet sticking out of the crumpled cover. Not a place to spend a restful night after a hard days drive. To her credit, the lady on reception did offer another room but it wasn’t much better. We have stayed in many campaniles all over France over many years and this is by far the worst. Continued to port and got 1.00 A.M ferry. Not satisfactory.

We have stayed here a few times over the years and always found it to be quite adequate as a stopover on our way to or from the channel tunnel, but this time it was not good. No draft beer on arrival so opted for bottled beer and the guy on reception couldn’t find the price and when he did , had no change out of a €20 note! The meal choice was disappointing and my husband chose the burger with brie and mustard, but asked for no brie, but it was smothered in grainy mustard, which he had to scrape off. The resulting effect was unprintable, but needless to say he spent most of the night in the bathroom. The room had no ventilation other than leaving the window open, but the traffic noise was very loud so not a good nights sleep all round. Very disappointed with our stay and despite the convenience of it being just off the motorway, we will never go there again.

Overall very good.Let down by unhelpful and abrupt receptionist. Looks a bit run down from the outside but rooms were good and bed was comfortable. Breakfast excellent. Would be happy to stay again. Easy accèss from the motorway and about 7 minutes drive into the centre of St Quentin

Basic hotel we used as a stop over, handy location, decor was a little lacklustre but beds were comfy, room and bathroom were clean and shower pressure was good. With breakfast included it served its purpose well. Not somewhere I would recommend for a long stay but perfect as a crash pad.

Accueil chaleureux de l'équipe. Chambre propre,confortable et fonctionnelle avec une baignoire. Petit déjeuner très varié. Dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel,nous avons été servis copieusement avec des produits frais. Expérience très satisfaisante à refaire de toute évidence.
