A truly horrible hotel. We found the hotel to be dirty, dated, the food was diabolical and the service non existent. Our room had peeling wall paper, years of dirt everywhere. The owner literally grunted at us and that was as much interaction as we got.

We really enjoyed our stay in this small hotel. Value for money . Please ignore the people that bad mouth this establishment. The rooms and bathroom is small, but clean and very comfortable. Our room had beautiful views of the valley. People was friendly and helpfull. Wifi very good.

I read the reviews of this hotel on Tripadvisor, and was amused that a 2019 review said almost exactly what I wanted to write some 5 years later (except that i could not comment on the bar).... In essence, the hotel is in a good location in a pretty village and has nice views across a small valley to an old church, but it is old, run-down and not nearly as good as its peers for meals or service. We arrived as snow belted down, but some 6 of us were told to wait outside until 3pm. I understand that hotels have hours, but telling your guests to stand outside as it snowed? Really? Once we were allowed inside, our room was clean but dark. It had a small bathroom but a double basin, and the wifi worked only when the door was open. The biggest issue was the bed. It was supposedly a "double", but the mattress that hung over the bed-frame by a few inches, so in practice it was not a double bed at all. That was a first in our years of travelling. One of us slept on the couch! Dinner was rustic. The potato soup seemed to have been made on the ratio or 1 potato per gallon of liquid, but the rest of the meal was not that bad. Breakfast was sparse and simple, to the point of being canned or tinned. In our three weeks or so of hiking this was a low-point, but it was tolerable. Having said that, if better were available, I'd be quick to take it

Stayed here for one night on the GR65 Chemin. Worst experience I have EVER encountered. The owner was rude and offensive. Rooms and decor dirty and shabby (think the Shining). For your sanity go elsewhere

We have giggled over all the reviews as there is some truth to what people have said. But: the view from our room and the dinner (demi pension) were great. The beds were very comfortable, the room was very clean, but rather dated. We had no wifi issues. The locals at the bar, who were very friendly, made for a lovely restaurant atmosphere. Could breakfast be better? Yes when compared to the other budget hotels we have stayed at along the GR65. Be prepared for very straight forward, to the point, service.

Séjour en 1/2 pension. Nous y avons passé 3 jours. Notre chambre était en très bon état avec certainement une réfection globale récente. Seul bémol, l’eau chaude n’est obtenue qu’en laissant couler l’eau un temps interminable …La patronne est au fourneau et c’est un véritable régal pour les papilles tout ça à un prix très abordable.et servi avec le sourire et la bonne humeur d’une serveuse fort agréable. Mais pourquoi la salle du restaurant est ouverte sur le bar qui est bruyant avec des habitués et un patron qui se moquent totalement de la tranquillité de ceux qui y mange ? Ce dernier point et le problème d’eau chaude, s’ils ne sont pas résolus ne donnera jamais satisfaction aux voyageurs quel dommage.

Cet établissement est glauque et désuet. Ce genre d’hôtel ne devrait plus exister. Quand le dernier contrôle a-t-il été effectué ? Aucune intimité entre les chambres. L’eau chaude est parcimonieuse. Le patron ne respect pas ses clients.

Hotel vétuste, tout est abîmé, cassé. On se demande si il y a des contrôles. Les sols , les plafonds, on dirait que tout va s écrouler. C'est sale, les couettes sont tachées. Au restaurant les verres, les couverts sont dégoûtants. La patronne et la serveuse sont très sympathique. Le patron grossier
