This is an amazing B&B in an undiscovered part of France for most Americans traveling. What a shame because this B&B , managed by a young British couple who speak fluent French is a wonder. A restored house/former bank, high ceilings, each bedroom spacious with beautiful modern in suite bathrooms. Beautifully decorated with very comfortable beds. Well maintained and very clean. The breakfast includes the best French bread, croissants and pastries from the local bakery. The prices for an American is very very reasonable. The B&B is located in St Pins de Thomiere. A medieval village in the heart of the Black Mountains. It is a Mecca for bicycling, motor cycling and amazing hiking. It is set in the Languedoc National Forest. There are many day trips, such as Carcassone, many vineyards, the Mediterranean. A part of France many Americans should visit. It is a 3 1/2 hour drive from Barcelona airport so an option to flying into Paris.
