Express Sadovaya Hotel

I rested from 01/08 to 01/12/2023 at the Express Sadovaya hotel. We checked in quickly and were given a superior room on the 2nd floor with windows facing the courtyard, not far from the elevator. I really liked the hotel, clean, cozy, comfortable. The room is large with a sofa, the bed is very comfortable, a good mattress, soft pillows, snow-white linen, bathrobes and towels. The room has water, tea, coffee, a kettle, and a small refrigerator. The bathroom is spacious, large shower, good faucets, everything is clean and new. There are no foreign odors. There were no problems with water, the water pressure was good, hot water was immediately available. Everything is fine. There are soap amenities in the room, as well as a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. There are also cosmetics (toothbrushes, toothpaste, shower caps and cotton swabs, pads), additionally you can ask at the reception. The reservation included breakfast. The cafe is large, spacious, with many tables and sofas. Sufficiently varied dishes for a hearty breakfast for every taste: porridge, sausages, omelettes, fried eggs, cheeses, cold cuts, casserole, cottage cheese, yoghurts, tea, coffee from a coffee machine, etc. Everything is delicious. There is also a bar where you can order food and drinks at any time until 00.00, until 03 a.m. there is already a limited menu. Very tasty pizza. In general, I really liked the hotel, I recommend it! Everything is fast and convenient. We went on the tubing slide, it was great! The location is 3 km from the center, I even like it, I walked along the streets and enjoyed the architecture of the city and the atmosphere. On my dates the city is very beautifully decorated, a delight! And most importantly, there were few people everywhere, it was calm, even in the Hermitage, which made it possible to walk around the palace without crowds and see a lot. I got to the Moskovsky station by taxi (200-500₽).

This is my second time staying at the hotel and I am very pleased. I like booking on the hotel website: it’s very convenient, you can choose your check-in time, see the surcharge for early check-in, book and no longer wait for standard check-in after 14:00. We booked a standard room, we were upgraded to a junior suite, on the 2nd floor. Nice. The room is spacious, everything you need is there: safe, mini-fridge, ironing facilities, shampoo, gel, soap. Upon request, slippers, shaving accessories, toothpaste can be provided. Bottles of water, tea set in the room. There is a water cooler on the floor, the water is good. Room cleaning is daily, high quality! Breakfast is very good: every day there is porridge, salads, vegetables, fruits, pastries, cottage cheese, yoghurts, soup. A choice of tea, coffee, juices. The tables are not very conveniently arranged in the restaurant - when the restaurant is fully loaded, people simply bump into each other. In good weather you can take the terrace, there are tables there too. The hotel staff is pleasant, friendly, quickly resolved any queries, responded to answers, and is available around the clock. The location of the hotel is also a plus: it’s 10 minutes to the Moskovsky train station by taxi or 15-20 by public transport, there’s a stop nearby. You can walk to the Mariinsky Theater, you can also walk to the center (Nevsky, Dvortsovaya) or take a bus. Everything is close and accessible.
